    Mga kapatid, super sad ako.. 6.5 pa din writing ko, i wonder san ako dapat mag-improve. Ito yung new scores ko: L 7.5 R 8.0 S 8.0 W 6.5...

    I'll go for remarking and retake sa Feb 7. Feeling ko naman mas maayos yung writing ko ngayon. Pero kapit lang, IELTS na lang kulang ko sayang...

    @ana_gdel I suggest na magpa-remark ka agad, most likely na ma-adjust yan to at least 7 given na lahat ng other areas eh mataas. Good Luck.

    @ana_gdel, same kayo ng fate ng wife ko. Kaso 6.0 ang writing niya, medyo alanganin sa remarking. Though hindi surprising ang result kasi dinatnan siya sa kalagitnaan ng writing exam (pagkakataon nga naman!), hindi pa din namin maiwasan malungkot. Sobrang hinayang niya kasi para sa kanya ang dali daw ng topic kaso ayun naubos yung oras niya sa pagpunta sa restroom pati na din yung focus niya nawala. No other choice but to try again. Kapit pa. :)

    @mast3ree Thank you po... ganun na nga gagawin ko. 6-8 weeks daw po yung re-marking, dagdag months sa ipaghihintay ko. Sayang nakagawa na ako ng draft EOI, yng result lng ng IELTS yung hinihintay ko. Pero just the same, tutuloy ko pa rin itong journey na ito.

    Take 3 na bale ako sa Feb 7... Napaka-sakit sa puso at higit sa bulsa. Crayola ang drama ko ngayon. Feeling ko tuloy very poor ang comm skills ko. Waaaaahhhhh (iyak ng malakas habang nasa office, with matching singa at singhot, tapos napapatingin yung taga-ibang cubicle hahahaha)

    @filipinacpa @ana_gdel really frustrating ung 3rd take. Ung Jan 10 na exam, late na ako dumating nun sa speaking tapos sabi ko baka sign na ito na di meant to be, meron other reasons kaya di ako pumapasa (6.5writing on first two takes) so before the exam, sabi ko thy will be done na lang.

    I also sent my 2nd take for remark in case mag fail ung 3rd take ulit looking forward sa remark pero sabi ko last na ung 3rd take kakapagod na. (might try cambridge advance exam para ibang approach naman to get the visa)

    Fortunately, it seems the higher one and I have the same idea on what path to take, it seems I just needed to be humbled... Got that long awaited 7.0 sa writing.

    3rd take grabe, I thought you will feel more confident.. di pala... pero just keep on praying :)

    Else, you may try the Cambridge Advance Exam.. I haven't found anyone here took it yet though January 2015 effectivity nya sa oz visa.

    Pero laban lang! Pray for strength and serenity.

    Omg!! I just had a look on this and DIBP accepts this type of exam for 189 visa. Pati na rin yung Cambridge Advance. Ang dami ng options. Nakakatuwa! The test fee is USD$205.00 plus the fact that you only need to wait for 5 days to get your result. Looks promising.. I'll research for the feedback of others about this.. :)

    I haven't looked on Cambridge Advanced. Parang di ko rin feel yan kasi ang impression ko baka similar kay IELTS. Lol

    Takers will be graded by a computer, including your speaking exams. I guess I have to practice more on the correct pronunciation just to make sure the computer will recognize it. I have read somewhere in another forum that your key for getting a higher grade in PTE Academic is coherence for your writing while correct pronunciation for speaking..

    @filipinacpa hi sis, I tried the mock exam for Cambridge Advance yesterday and it is so much easier compared to IELTS coz the conversations will be played twice, so there will be a chance that you could perfect the test, since we are used to do the IELTS test, this is just a piece of cake for us.(yabang ko noh?!!)

    @imeetr Hi sis that is good news. I can't find any good info re: Cambridge Advanced such as their scoring, test modules, test centers in the Phil, exam fees, etc..

    If this will be easier since we are (I supposed) well-trained already on how IELTS exam goes, then perhaps I could give this one a try too.

    2015-July 20 - Lodged docs to Vetassess
    2015-Oct 1: VET Positive outcome
    2015-Oct 1: Submitted EOI 190 visa to NSW (55+5)
    2015-Oct 4: Submitted EOI 190 visa to QLD (55+5)
    2015-Oct 5: QLD responded, rejected 190 due to change in occupation list but offered ITA for 489 visa instead
    2015-Nov 2: DIBP points adjusted to 60+5 (due to additional 1 year working experience)
    2015-Nov 26: ITA for SS NSW
    2015-Nov 28: Submitted SS application
    2015-Dec 17: SS Approved + Received 190 ITA
    2015-Dec 23: Lodged 190
    2016-Jan 5: Medical @ Nationwide (Php5,600 na ang fee!!)
    2016-Jan 8: Medical Clearance Provided - no action required (Thank you Lord!)
    2016-Jan 18: Applied for Driving SP and Direct Visa Grant!!! (Thank You Lord!)
    2016-Jan 26: PDOS @ CFO Manila + Enrolled at A1 Driving
