ENS 2018

@marty_lawrence I am not sure if ito yung sinasabi ng employer mo:

"From March 2018, employers nominating workers through the Employer Nominated Scheme will contribute to the training of Australians through a Skilling Australians Fund (SAF) levy. The levy will be payable in full at the time the worker is nominated, and will depend on the size of the business.

For businesses with an annual turnover of less than $10 million, a one-off levy of $3000 applies.

For businesses with an annual turnover of more than $10 million, the one-off levy is $5000."

    from https://www.australianbusinessmigration.net.au/australian-businesses/sponsoring-for-ens/

or yung sinabi ni @engineer20 about the visa fee. If it is about the visa fee, sabihin mo na lang na you can shoulder the cost (if you want).

@marty_lawrence I will be eligible to apply for PR on January also. As of now, I am a bit concern also kung iisponsor ako ng current employer ko since there's new rule came last March.

Based sa understanding ko from the agent we are working with, the SAF (Skilling Australians Fund) levy will be paid by the employer when they sponsor anyone on 457 for PR application via the ENS (Employer Nomination Scheme).

    - Turnover of < $10M: one-off payment of $3000 per application
    - Turnover of >$10M: one-off payment of $5000 per application

Note that the employer should NOT pass this cost to the employee, otherwise, they run the risk of losing their sponsorship abilities.

This might be the reason why employers are now hesitating in sponsoring PR applications for their employees on 457 visas.
