BM ko n sa Friday. Finally! Solo aq so medyo adventure mode. Salamat pala sa lhat ng tao dito sa forum. 2 years plus n rin aq ngbabasa.

    Kami ng misis ko ngayonh feb 26 ang BM. Wala kamag anak, wala kaibigan. Adventure talaga! Wala din trabaho! Hahahha. Although nag aapply apply n kmi ngayon. May mga ilang rejection letters n din at may ilang on further review. May ndi din ako nasagot n tawag ng recruiter hahahaha. Naka sked n kami sa melbourne cbd for NAB banking. Rent nmn eh hinahanap nmin sa mga FB groups.

    hello! BM namin ng family ko sa 1st week ng April sa Adelaide, stay muna sa Sydney maybe for a week, sa mga relatives, tapos lipad na pa-ADL after. Nag-umpisa na kami mag-aaply ng work, hanap ng Airbnb at house to rent. So far, wala pa lahat. Nakakakaba dahil wala din kami relatives at friends sa SA. Hopefully everything can be sorted out soon.

    @ignorms may time pa naman kayo. Enjoy Sydney!!! I think yung house ang pinaka mahalaga jan especially if may kids. Kasi ako solo kahit backpacking mode muna pede eh. Kabado nmn ata taung lahat pag BM. Kaya yan! God bless sa family pati na rin sa relatives nyo na kahit pano, malaking tulong for emotional support. Pati sana financial support just in case. Hehe

    Checklist lang para sa Friday mismo (day ng BM). If may nakalimutan ako, paremind lang. hehe

    Exchanged some aud cash pero meron na rin eftpos card nakuha nung IE
    Informed new housemates of arrival (wala pa akong susi so kelangan alam nila oras ng dating ko) haha
    Recharged phone (prepaid kasi)
    Packed things to declare in one luggage para mas efficient lang
    Problema ko na lang yung traffic papunta sa NAIA

    Ako kasi wala nmn maxadong ipon. Haha
    Naubos sa visa application

    May nabasa ako dati dito sa forum... budget for at least 3 months assuming na wala pa kong work.
    So kunwari $2k per month (single to ah), dala ka $6k. PERO xempre mas okay if mas malaki. May credit card din ako for emergency purposes.
    Hanap din agad ng work para may income na agad.

    Samin, nagtransfer na kami ng funds to Aus, habang mura pa ang AUD, para sure na hindi na bababa yung value ng ipon namin Php. Ipon pa ulit habang may work pa dito sa Pinas.

    Yes, meron. May 2 akong kakilala na ganyan ang ginawa. Yung iba naman, may office yung company nila sa AU kaya nagpatransfer nalang. :)
