The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Malaysia wishes to inform that application of Certificate of Good Conduct (CGC) MUST be done online and the process will takes approximately 1 to 2 months to complete.

Pre-Condition for Foreigners:
Foreigners who wish to apply for CGC MUST have resided in Malaysia for a period of AT LEAST TWELVE (12) CONSECUTIVE MONTHS under long term social visit pass (i.e.: employment pass, student pass, spouse of Malaysian, expatriate pass)
Steps for CGC application:
1. Log on to the E-Consular service at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Malaysia website available at the following link: http://www.kln.gov.my/web/guest/online
2. Complete the online forms and click SUBMIT.
3. Print Application Acknowledgement Slip.
4. Check application status from time to time using the same ID and password used in Step 1.
5. For SUCCESSFUL application:

i. CGC collection at the Counter of Consular Division, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Malaysia (including Sabah and Sarawak branch office), pleased bring along the following:
a. Application Acknowledgement Slip;
b.Cash payment of Ringgit Malaysia Twenty Only (RM20); and
c.Letter of Authorization for collection on behalf of the applicant(s).

ii. CGC collection at the Counter at any of the Malaysia Embassy/High Commission/Consulate General, please bring along the following:
a. Application Acknowledgement Slip;
b. Cash payment equivalent to Ringgit Malaysia twenty Only (RM20); and
c. Letter of Authorization for collection on behalf of the application(s).

iii. Via postal service, applicant is required to submit to the Consular Division, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Malaysia (including Sabah and Sarawak branch office) or to the Malaysian Embassy/High Commission/Consulate General abroad, the following:
a. Application Acknowledgement Slip;
b. Bank Draft/Postal Order of or equivalent to Ringgit Malaysia Twenty Only (RM20) [Payable to: Akauntan Negara Malaysia (for payment made within Malaysia) or payable to the Malaysian Embassy/High Commission/Consulate General abroad. Please contact our local or overseas offices for further information on payment]; and
c. An A4 size self-addressed envelope with sufficient postage.

7. For UNSUCCESSFUL application, please contact Consular Division, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Malaysia (including Sabah and Sarawak branch office) or the Malaysian Embassy/High Commission/Consulate General abroad for further information.

congrats @agentKams question lang po from Aug 29 po na CO contact wala bang in between na another contact from them kasi po antagal kung after 5 months bago kayo nabalikan .. TIA po sa sagot

@irenesky matagal po kasi iyong issuance ng Qatar PCC, and nung naCO contact kami ng 29 August, i provided timeline of issuance nung PCC from the embassy. 8-12 weeks minimum nila. second CO contact was jan 9 nanghingi na ng penal clearance waiver na prinovide din namin. nareceive namin iyong PCC jan 29 na finorward din namin sa kanila before kami nabigyan ng grant.

Hi! Nagcocompose po ako ng feedback, ang gist ay parang ineexpress ko concern ko sa (1) instructions nila on how to upload the addl requirements na kako hindi clear; at (2) yung mga addl requirements na hiningi nila ay sana bigyan naman nila ng reason kung bakit nila hinihingi to avoid committing mistakes in the future. At the end of each nagsuggest ako, "respectfully" na iimprove nila yung process.. basta all in all nice ko namang sinabi, professional at humble ang dating ehehe. Ang point ko lang naman ay magpapansin syempre hehe. Tingin nyo po kaya okay lang yun? sabi kasi ni hubby baka ma-offend daw sakin yung officers at lalong idelay yung grant. kayo po pano nyo cinompose yung feedback nyo? thanks in advance!

Question po, how do I reply once na macontact? The CO is requesting for the health examination of my wife but she is still undergoing a 6 month-treatment as required by the same panel physician/clinic where she took her exam.

Nakumpleto na po nya yung basic exams, only Exam 603 is under "referred" status which will be completed by June.

How do i advise the CO regarding this? Should i be emailing it personally to [email protected]? Kasi wala naman po akong need to send/upload na document.

@corrappyka_CE I believe you were given 28 days to comply. You need to inform them ata na sa June pa mafafinalize yung hinihingi nila by emailing gsm.allocated. Wag ka lang magaattch ng kahit na anong docs dahil hindi nila babasahin agad pag may attachments ang email.

Asking for a friend who recently received email from immigration @ gsm.allocated@homeaffairs. They were asking for copy of new passport + character reference which was already submitted/attached sa ImmiAccount website by my friend. Question lang sna if pde ba mag email sa immigration to let them know na upload na documents na hiningi? and how long do you think ma receive ung grant nya if ever? Thanks! God bless

They will check again after the number of days stated in that letter. It took mine around 6 six after re uploading requested file that was already there.

@andishoo Hi. Yes, it happens a lot. In my case police clearance ng partner ko na i was so certain inattach ko upon lodging. I just complied and re-attached (wala namang mawawala), then after a few weeks nagfeedback ako, dun ko na sinabi yung complain ko na yun nga, na-overlook ata nila yung document ko. nakatulong ata yung feedback kasi binalikan nila papers ko then granted my visa a few days after. you can backread sa thread na to kung ano yung feedback technique na tinatawag nating mga pinoy

Hello everyone, na CO contact po kami ng wife ko kasi wala kami PCC. We are working on it now since 28 days lang nga. Tanong ko lang po sana is how long does it usually take to get the visa granted once the requested reqts are submitted? Saka ano po yung chance na ma-CO contact uli? Di ko ba pwede i-assume na na-check na nung CO officer lahat before contacting us?

Hi, I just want to ask para prepared kami, with regards to police clearance, tama po ba pagkakaintindi ko na for the past 10 years, if nag stay ka sa country na un for 12mos need mo ng clearance?

So kung tama po pagkakaintindi ko:
Since I stayed in SG since 2007 (pero umuuwi ako ng Pinas for vacation mga pa two weeks two weeks) so I need the COC right from SG, na meron na po ako.

I am currently here in AU under 457 visa for almost 1y10m, so I need AU police clearance as well, right?

Do I still need NBI clearance from Pinas?

@SAP_TRM case to case basis ata, I've seen some cases sa immitracker na between 1 week to 2 months or even more ang next CO contact or grant after submitting required documents. Chances na ma CO contact uli, that also depends gaano ka complete and well-prepared/organized ang documents na naipasa nyo.

Hello,

Nakakuha kami email asking for evidence of functional english ng dependent ko. Na-attach ko na sa documents ngayon yung IELTS results niya, may kailangan pa ba na next step? May nabasa ako sa thread na button pa daw na cclick sa Attach Documents, di ko naman makita?

Kala ko iccheck nila yung IELTS results nung dependent ko kasi nasa form naman yung details nun hehe kaya hindi na ako nagattach nung nagsubmit kami.
