    Slaamat @rnmh so bali kung nasa pinas ka nung na grant for first time mong palabas ng pinas kukuha ka ng sticker . So kung nasa Australia ka nung na grant at uuwi ka pinas tas pag balik mo ng oz, di mo na kelangang kumuha nyan?

    @cyborg5 kailangan lang yung CFO PDOS sticker pag galing kang pinas. Kasi dito ka lang naman haharangin. Kung asa Australia ka na or galing kang ibang bansa ok lang na wala ka pa noon sa ngayon. Pero sa susunod na uuwi kang pinas— at babyhe from PH to AUS tsaka siya hahanapin. More of idedelay mo lang kailan mo siya kukunin/gagawin. Keep in mind na lang po na every tuesday lang schedule ng emigrant to Australia, and may slots na binobook (hanggang 60 lang ata). Para sa next time na uwi mo sa Pinas. All the best!

    Batchmates! Sorry di ako naka update agad due to some circumstances. I've settled down already and thank you for your prayers! Sa mga punta sa Melbourne, share ko lang yung experience ko sa Medicare sa CBD (along Elizabeth Street). Maraming tao at inabot ata ako ng 1 and a half hours. Sa suburbs ata mabilis lang.

    Nag BM na kami last march 12.. sa airport ng pinas inoopen isa isa maleta na ichecheckin for swab test then didikitan nila sticker.. then papadocument check ka sa avsec (nandun lang din) bago mo mapaweigh and check in sa airline.. mahal ang excess baggage ng cebupac 1200 php per kg hahahaha kaya maganda bago kau dumating weigh muna.. pacargo nlng siguro

    Sa airport ng melbourne swabe ang bilis namin haha from declaration of goods to immig to exit mga 5 mins siguro tapos d chineck laptop hdds luggages namin (siguro muka kaming katiwala tiwala) then bumili kami sim card 20 aud for 28 days na may 45 gb and unli call text to national numbers.. nakapromo sya nun.. lahat ng USD namin na onhand pinachange na namin sa airport kasi di masyado availability ng money changer sa sub.. sa cbd naman meron ako napansin ung malapit sa Coco

    Then pumunta kami cbd for the NAB atm.. ung default na binibigay nila ay plain atm card wherein u can deposit and withdraw.. request kau ng debit card para pwede online txns.. babalikan pa namin next wk for pickup.. ung medicare naman mahaba nga sa cbd katulad ng naexpi ni @leadme kaya kinabukasan sa suburb kami nagpunta ang bilis lang.. then nag gawa kami online ng tfn application..

    Now the job hunting begins... baka may alam kau jan naghahanap ng process engr / safety engr / manufacturing engr hihi

    Andito nadin kami sa Sydney ni fiancee :)
    Upon arrival sa Sydney Terminal 1, mabilis lang kami nakalagpas ng immigration though na-random check kami sa bagahe so pinahiwalay kami ng pila. grabe ang kaba ko kasi nagdala ako ng CPU akala ko di papayagan or bubusisiin pa hahaha yun naman pala aamuyin lang ng aso yung gamit nyo then okay na :)

    Mga nagawa namin on our 1st day (yesterday):
    1. Get Vodaphone Prepaid Sim (Starter Pack) - 40gb data sya tapos unli call and text na yata for Vodaphone subscribers then X amount of free calls international. 25AUD each then need ang passport pag bumili ka

    2. Get OPAL cards, ito yung parang LRT/MRT stored value, 50AUD ang pinaload namin each since wala pa kami bank account pra sa auto deduction sana.

    3. Nag inquire kami sa service center about sa pagkuha ng TFN, Driver's License saka Working With Children permit for fiancee tapos sabi nila online daw pnaprocess mga yun then for the License need pa daw namin mag exam.

    Gawin namin yung mga online applications today para bukas hopefully mkapag start na kami ng job hunting :) Good luck and God bless po sa ating lahat :)

    @michaelguanzon_ust , galing naman, ang dami nang nagawa agad! Good luck sa buhay Aus! Lipad na din kami thus friday pa-Sydney, then ADL after a week. About sa phone sim, passport lang din ba ang kailangan pag postpaid plan ang i-avail? Although yung starter pack ng vodaphone is mukhang ok na din pala.

    1. Prepaid Sim Vodafone
    2. Opal Card
    3. TFN - online application, received after 4-5 days
    4. WWCC - for my fiancee, online application then submit to service centre
    5. Medicare - download form then fill up, go to Medicare office (around 20mins processing and you're done!)

    Update din sa amin. We went to vodafone on the day we arrived. Got our sim plans. May discount pag bundled. Need passport and some bank detail for postpaid plan. Sunday, updated our CV's, sent job applications. Monday, went to Commbank for identification on the account we opened online. 5 days waiting time for the atm cards.

    So far, yun pa lang naaaccomplish namin...

    Finally received the grant today :) Inabot ng 7 months pero all things happen in God's perfect time talaga. Since 489 ako di rin agad na consume ang visa ko dahil pinag extend pa ko ng company ko till May 2019 (by force :) ). Officially graduate narin sa wakas ang September batch medyo nadelay nga lang .. Thank you sa lahat
