@mister.hyde maximum 75 words sa SWT. Sa 1st exam ko I tried compound complex structure tapos 2nd take I copied exact phrases then compound complex. Nasa 60-65 words ako nun. Based sa E2L videos 40-50 words would be fine.

@Roni.A. Hi! Read mo po maige ung sentence, if di po maganda pakinggan ung napili mong word kapag binasa mo sentence malamang di po un ung right answer. Madami po points na makukuha ditto kaya make sure ito po ung pagtuunan ng time pati po ung R:FIBS kesa sa MCQs/m. Hope this helps.

    Hello po sa lahat :-)
Ngayon lang po talaga ako nakabalik sa forum na’to.

With God’s help, I got the superior score. (All Glory Belongs to the Almighty God!). Words can't express how thankful I am to God Almighty Father!

Third try ko na po ito sa PTE. Admittedly, di po talaga ako magaling sa English. In fact, during college days ito yung isa sa mga ayaw ko sa minor subjects ng Engineering. I can speak, read, write, and listen English....but maybe just enough for a particular need or purpose, pero di talaga magaling and I hate exploring this subject during school days.

Di ko po talaga na practice yung English communication most of the times :-( Pero dahil kelangan ko talagang maka superior sa PTE, pinilit kung bigyan ng time and effort itong English language na'to to explore and learn more.
Ito po yung timeline ng PTE experiences ko :-)

January 2019 - PTE preparation (studying 2hrs per day, 4 hrs during Sat & Sun)
    February 2019 - 1st PTE Exam: L-87 | R-78 | S-90 | W-81
    G- 83, OF - 90, P - 88, S - 85, V - 90, WD - 90
    March 2019 - took PTE Scored Practice Test C: L-88 | R-90 | S-90 | W-85

March 2019 - 2nd PTE Exam: I only got 10 points in Speaking :-( . I sent an email to
Pearson. Pearson Team conducted an evaluation of my test files, and
identified a technical error in the speaking component of my test. However,
they were unable to manually adjust my score due to some reasons. After
several weeks, they gave me a voucher to retake the exam free of charge.

    April 2019 - PTE preparation (studying 3-5hrs a day, 6-8hrs during Sat & Sun)

    **Speaking**

    Read aloud –

    • Try “English Speaking - Shadowing Technique” dun sa youtube for several days.
    • Read English articles for at least 15 to 30 minutes a day. Lage akong nagbabasa dun sa
    http://www.globalization101.org at https://www.sciencedaily.com/
    • Madalas kong nilalakasan ang boses ko while reading para masanay ako sa proper
chunking, pausing, word stress & sentence stress. While reading aloud, try to enunciate
words properly. Yung ginawa ko dito, nag emphasized talaga ako dun sa /t/ sound. Di
bale na kahit medyo OA or exaggerated, at yung /d/ & /s/ sound. I watched A.J Hoge
(Effortless English Show) videos on youtube.
    • Try to record and listen to your voice during practice session
    • Find someone na talagang particular about pronunciation tapos mag basa ka ng
articles in front of him/her…and ask her feedback.
    • Yung ginawa ko dito, I always read at an average reading speed, di mabagal, di rin
mabilis. Dapat ma-emphasize yung pause kapag my comma or period.
    • Ginamit ko to https://www.speechtexter.com/ para malaman ko kung anong words
ang madalas na hindi naka capture ng computer dahil sa pacing at pronunciation
    problem.
    • During practice and actual exam, lage ko binibigay yung best ko sa Read Aloud kasi ito
yung first task and it will certainly define our momentum.

Binasa ko rin yung mga Read Aloud from these sources:
    https://ptestudy.com/
    https://www.apeuni.com
    https://ptetutorials.com/exam-memories-materials

    Repeat sentence –

    • At the outset, frustrating talaga kasi 70% of the total # of words lang ang kaya kung e-
repeat kapag 12 to 16 words per sentence. Kaya talagang nag practice ako dito.
    • While commuting, Repeat Sentence from youtube ang ginawa kung music…haha.
Tapos pa bulong kong inuulit each sentence.
    • Ito yung approach ko:
    1) Nakatingin ako dun sa time status (Beginning in 3-2-1 seconds) before mag start yung audio
    2) Ginamit ko yung first 2 seconds to clear my mind and focus
    3) Sa remaining 1 sec, ito yung anticipation mood ko, gusto kong ma feel talaga na may audio akong ina-abangan. Kasi when I am anticipating for something, mas alert yung mind and ears ko. Parang may feeling of eagerness kung ano kaya ang lalabas na audio.
    4) While listening, gumagawa ako ng story, actions and characters in my mind based on the audio para mas maintindihan ko yung thought.
    5) Kung mahaba yung sentence, wait for the first bar (progress bar) to appear bago mag salita. In this manner, you’ll have at least 1.5 second to recall the entire thought before speaking. Be mindful that the microphone will close after 3 seconds of silence.
    6) If short sentence lang, mas madaling e repeat so do speak immediately kung yung status ay nasa – “Recording” na.

    • Inubos ko lahat ng previous 4 months edition ng Repeat Sentence of CareerCoves PTE
on youtube. For example, if yung exam schedule ko is May, yung January to April
Edition yung pina practice ko. At yung May edition ay pina practice ko 2 weeks prior exam
    schedule.
    • 2 weeks before exam, read the list of Repeat Sentence examples dun sa “Free PTE-A
Exam Memories Material” of PTETutorials. Kahit yung previous month and current
month lang. In my case, May yung exam ko… so April and May lang yung binabasa ko.
    • Kapag nabasa mo yung mga academic words ahead of time, mas madali mong ma
recall yun during Repeat Sentence task.

I focused on 2 resources only for Repeat Sentence:

    CareerCoves PTE on youtube

    Describe image -

    • Keep it simple. Highest and Lowest figure lang lage ko kinukuha dito.

    Ito yung template ko:

This (bar/pie/line) chart represents the __________(title).
Based on the data provided, it is apparent that the highest percentage belongs to ____ at about 30%, while the lowest percentage belongs to ____ at about 5%.

Overall, the information is particularly useful as a specific reference for future studies of the same learning objective.
    ====================================
    • For complex charts with multiple components, I only choose one reference (focus on one gender, one country, one item, etc.)

    Ito yung template ko:

This (bar/pie/line) represents the _________(title) .
Considering the data relevant to _____, it is apparent that the highest percentage belongs to ____ at about 30%, while the lowest percentage belongs to ____ at about 5%.
Overall, the information is particularly useful as a specific reference for future studies of the same learning objective.
    ====================================
    • For Maps, ito yung template ko:

The image projected on the screen is a diagrammatic representation of an area of land showing the countries of ____/ places of____.It also shows the location of various countries/regions/cities including _____, _____, and _____.
The northern part of the map is the _____, while the southern part is the _____.
The eastern part is the _____, while the western part is the. _____.
Overall, the information is particularly useful as a specific reference for future studies of the same learning objective.

    Re-tell lecture -

    • 4 phrases with important keywords lang talaga kinukuha ko dun sa lecture to ensure na may enough time to speak clearly na hindi nag mamadali.

    Ito yung template ko:

The speaker provided detailed information about ____.
    Firstly, he mentioned that_____.
Moreover, he explicated the fact that _____ .
Lastly, he pointed out that _____

Overall, the speaker explicated all the necessary information to substantiate the subject matter.

(Sinasabi ko itong conclusion if may remaining time pa. Most of the time, hanggang “ Lastly, “ lang talaga)

    Ito yung strategy ko dito:

Sa 3rd item ng Read Aloud, ginamit ko ang 10 secs out of the given 25 secs na preparation pra magawa ko yung 1st Step ng Template ko.

Sa 1st step ng template ko, I started sketching 3 horizontal lines & 3 vertical lines to make a grid for my table.

Then, during 4th item ng Read Aloud, ginamit ko na naman ang 10 secs out of the given 25 secs na preparation to fill-up words for my template. Minsan, di ko natatapos to. Kaya ginamit ko na naman yung 10 secs out of the given 25 secs na preparation time ng 5th item ng Read Aloud.

You might ask, why sa 3rd item ako nag start preparing my template for Re-tell Lecture??

Kasi para sa akin, kelangan ko pag butihin talaga yung first & 2nd item ng Read Aloud kasi dun ako kumukuha ng momentum. So, dapat focus talaga ako dun. Kung maayos yung first & 2nd item mo, lalo kang energetic sa pag gawa ng template.

Note: 3rd, 4th, & 5th items lang ng Read Aloud ang sina sacrifice ko dito. Minsan nga minamadali ko para within the 3rd & 4th item, tapos na template ko.

Sinadya kung e plot ng ganito yung template ko kasi para sa akin mas mabilis to na paraan.
Please refer to the attached photos. Gumawa ako ng samples sa 1st step & 2nd step para ma visualize nyo :-)
You may enlarge the 2nd photo para makita nyo yung wordings, in case kelangan.

    ** Writing **

    Summarize written text
    • Create a complex-compound sentence
    • First, know the main idea of the text.
    • I read and understand the text for 3 minutes. Then, 7 mins for writing a sentence.
    • Ang ginawa ko dito, I copied three important sentences containing the key ideas (word
for word) from the text. With this scheme, maiiwasan kong ma off topic, kasi may
guide na ako sa flow ng thoughts.
    • I connected the first 2 sentences with “FANBOYS” conjunctions. Oftentimes, I only use
    /,and/ /,but/ /,yet/ /,or/ /,so/.
    • Add the last sentence using conjunctive adverbs (; moreover,)(; furthermore,)( ;
therefore,)( ; indeed,)( ; consequently,)( ; nevertheless, )(; however,)( ; on the other
hand,)( ; hence,). Note that there is a semicolon before the conjunctive adverb and a
    comma after it.
    • After creating a complex-compound sentence using “FANBOYS” conjunctions and
conjunctive adverb, dito na ako nag re-replace ng words with the corresponding
synonyms to boost vocabulary score. Then, pag may time pa, I paraphrase few lines.
    • Mostly, maraming words from the text ang ginagamit ko lalo na if wala na talagang ma
isip na synonyms. By using this strategy, consistent naman yung superior marks ko sa
communicative and enabling skills related to writing, sa awa ng Panginoon.

    Write essay

    • 2 minutes planning, 3 minutes for writing introduction, 10 minutes for writing Body1 &
Body2, 2 minutes for writing conclusion, 3 minutes to review your essay.
    • At the outset, hirap talaga ako dito sa essay writing dahil lage akong kinakapos sa
oras. Ang ginawa ko, I read a lot of PTE sample essay
    https://pteacademicexam.com/pte-academic-essay-writing-questions-and-topics-
with-answers-latest-essay-list/ . Gumawa ako ng booklet with list of words (with
meanings) that could boost my vocabulary, including academic words with
collocations. Ito yung lage kung binabasa during free time at ginagamit ko rin during
    essay writing.
    • Nag practice ako ng 5 essays per week. Then, 2 essays (magka sunod) every day for 2
weeks before exam schedule. Ito rin yung paraan ko to enhance keyboard typing skills.

    Ito yung ginawa kung template:

These days, there is substantive controversy among individuals regarding ________. The vast majority of people opine that _____. However, others refute this supposition and think that it has adverse ramifications. In my view, I have a strong belief that _____(this is my thesis statement). This essay will elucidate the pertinent points of view to substantiate my assertion.

To begin with, there are multifarious reasons and cogent arguments that can shore up the implied notion. Firstly, _____is ____ because______. Clearly, ______. In other words, ___.
For instance, a 2017 study from Cambridge University showed that 88% of ____.

Furthermore, another justification for upholding this proposition is the fact that ______. Certainly, ________ . As a matter of fact, _______.
To cite a prime example, a 2017 study from Harvard University showed that 91% of_________.

In summary, this essay discussed ___________. In my opinion, (state your thesis statement).
