    Hi everyone, Im new to this group. Unable to find the way to ask questions so thought try this way. Inquiring about my Wife. I'm a NZ Citizen , Planing to move OZ with my wife but there is a hiccup . My wife had a hard luck to pass OET since last year. To get a registration in NZ becoming hard for GDN nurses and now we found out as she has done 3 years diploma in Nursing she has to do study another 2 years to able to get RN registration . Now we planing to move to OZ at least she can become enrolled nurse Through APHARA if she gets PTE required score.
    My question is can Enrolled Nurse qualified for PR in Melbourne if she has RN experience from overseas and NZ.
    2nd Question she is wanting to give Ilets first before PTE. she thinks Iilets much easier
    What do yous guys suggest for someone whose on Resident visa in NZ and wanting to move to OZ, having nursing diploma from overseas and NZ healthcare experience . Any advise much much appreciated as we have been trying from last 1 year to make her RN

    @atul12 NZ experience meaning she is registered as RN or EN in NZ? If so she can qualify for the Trans Tasman Mutual Recognition and will have no need to prove English proficiency.

    https://www.ahpra.gov.au/documents/default.aspx?record=WD10/3990&dbid=AP&chksum=RkzmTu6kRD55eSEKVvw4hg==

    Under the Trans Tasman Mutual
    Recognition Act 1997, the Board is
    required to recognise the status of a
    nurse, midwife or enrolled nurse from New
    Zealand and grant registration with no
    additional requirements for English
    language proficiency.

    Sorry My bad, I have not disclosed Correctly. she has not enrolled in NZ yet because she has not passed the english test. If she did they will ask her to do 2 years study in NZ, we changed our plan and planing to move Aus Doing PTE exam. Just needing a advice is that any 1 year program available for Graduate diploma nursing to become RN in AUS. what i heard APAHRA NO longer taking overseas registered nurse who has done 3 years graduate diploma so if she passed english test she will qualified for Enrolled Nurse. does she have chances to get PR in Aus as enrolled nurse or it has to be RN. Thanks much appreciate for help

    @Atul12 Are you from the Philippines or another country? Reason I asked is I don't have an idea if Diploma in Nursing is the same as Bachelor in Nursing... better contact AHPRA directly or have the credentials assessed by the uni or college where you intend to study
