@agentKams sorry sa double post but this is for a different question.

I'm currently filling up my 485 application through the immi website. I was surprised that I got to the payment page but they haven't asked for my documents yet. Is this something you can help me with?

To anybody who also had the same struggle as me (also tagging @agentKams ),

How did you guys answer questions 25, 27, 28, and 29 of form 80?

25: "What is your main reason for remaining in Australia?"

    • Dito ako talagang stuck na stuck pero yung inisip ko na answer dito is "To look into gaining work experience related from my recent university course". I'm scared baka dito ako sasabit sa application ng 485 post-study stream.

27: "Give details of your arrival in Australia"

    • Eto ba yung first arrival date ko dito when I started my student visa?

28: "Are you applying for a temporary visa?"

    • I think "Yes" ang sagot dito since temporary graduate visa naman talaga ina-applyan ko pero baka i'm missing something sa question na toh.

29: "Do you have any proposed or booked travel for your departure from Australia?"

    • I think "No" ang sagot dito kasi di naman plan na umalis agad after nung visa pero baka may inputs kayo dyan for this question.

Also, yung questions 47 and 48 regarding personal contacts, di ko na pwede ilagay mga kapatid ko dito noh kasi nilagay ko na yung info nila sa siblings section? And do we have to put ALL other contacts sa Part T? Or okay lang ba yung sa 47 and 48 lang?

@hakister after lodgement ng 485 automatic may bridging visa ka.

Thanks po sa response ulit. Yung national identification number ba, wala po ako nun kasi 2019 lang sya na-implement sa PH pero I'm here since 2017? Ano po pwede gamitin?

This I am not sure. All my visa application wala akong nilalagay sa portion na iyan and not aware na may NID na pla ang Pinas.

I already paid but this is what it says:

This applicant is not required to provide any evidence at this stage based on the information provided within the application. However, the department may request further information from this applicant at a later date.

Yes first arrival date in student visa.

No din sagot ko dito. I think it's because you need to be onshore when your visa has been decided.

**personal contacts ko iyong close friend at close relative lang namin nilagay ko 3 lang sila in total. not necessarily put ALL. for me, sila lang iyong nakakaalam ng personal circumstance ko and makakapagvouch ng identity ko in case they need to call to confirm **

Thank you so much for the patience in answering my questions po. I really appreciate it.

Graduate visa 485 is for those international students who have recently graduated in Australia(must have awarded at least one degree, diploma or trade qualification and were physically in Australia for at least 16 calendar months to complete the study

Skilled migrant visa needs you to meet a minimum score and must have a positive skills assessment( must meet a minimum no. of years experience to get one). At this time, it is unlikely you qualify. Saan ka ba gagraduate and what course? Maybe student visa is your stepping stone.

Hi all, I'm already here in Sydney and just wanted to know if anybody can confirm.

May legislation or any online official document po ba na pwedeng iconfirm to?

Wouldn't a completion letter from the university be sufficient to apply for 485 Visa?

P.S. I'm not Eng grad, but from Archi-related degree, finishing this sem. Planning to apply for 485 before my student visa expires.

Anyone who had an experience to apply for a temporary visa 485 pero Diploma and Advanced Diploma of Information Technology or anything under sa SOL yong natapos. I've researched online that only Bachelor or higher level (Post graduate stream) are not eligible for skills assessment pero yong (Graduate Work stream) or Diploma level need mag pa assess sa assessing authority. Let me know how it went sa time na nag process kayo. Thanks for sharing po ☺️

    Hi Guys,

Dun po sa mga nkapag lodge ng visa 485 can you help me po step by step ng application?
I'm planning to lodge it po ng walang agent e. Ang mahal kasi ng mga processing fee nila :'(

Ano po ba first step ko? I have completion letter na po from University.

    Thanks in advance :)

I haven't applied for 485 yet (as I'm still studying), but the DHA website already shows the step-by-step instructions.
    https://immi.homeaffairs.gov.au/visas/getting-a-visa/visa-listing/temporary-graduate-485

The basic things you need to have are:

    • Valid Passport - ideally valid throughout the duration of your grad visa
    • Health/Medical Exam - book this as early as possible. not sure how things are now, but back in July/August 2020, the earliest schedule I could get was 2 months away, and it wasn't even the closest Bupa center to my location.
    • Skills Assessment - only if you are applying for Graduate Work Visa Stream (no need for this if Post-Study Work Stream)
    • Health Insurance - you must have health insurance cover for the duration of the grad visa. I believe this is called Overseas Visitors Health Cover.
    • Australian Federal Police Check
    • English Proficiency Test - IELTS. not sure if they accept anything else.

These are the requirements for a single applicant. Addtional documents need to be submitted if you have dependents.

I really recommend you book the medical and English proficiency exams right away, as the earliest schedule can be months away. You only have 6 months to apply for the 485 visa (I'm not sure if this has changed due to COVID) from the time you received your completion letter (not your graduation ceremony or the day you receive your diploma). And you need to ensure that your student visa is still valid by the time you lodge your 485 visa application. Once you've lodged your next visa, you will automatically be issued a Bridging Visa A that comes into effect when your student visa expires.
