Yes, PTE or IELTS normally will do. Deakin University in Melbourne is one of the schools na nagooffer ng conversion program. You can try to send your application for free through their partner agent here in the Philippines.

hello friends! would it matter kung onshore or offshore ka mag apply ng student visa? pero downgrading course pa din ang kukunin like cert3/4 or diploma. kase i heard mahigpit ngayon ang immigration to grant one kapag nagda-downgrade. if bachelors ka, dapat bachelors or masters ang kukunin , nothing below that. please share some insights and advices na din. salamat po in advance!! =) STAY SAFE AND STAY HOME!!

Yes, it really matter. Specially kung downgrade yung course mo. It is safe to apply onshore if you really want to take a vocational course kahit Bachelor degree graduate ka na. If you will apply offshore, it is safe to take a Master degree or, any higher education qualification.

Hi po! Newbie here. I am a BS Psychology graduate and I'm hoping to apply for Graduate Entry Bachelor of Nursing at University of Sunshine Coast.

May chance po ba na matatanggap ako?

I read naman sa reqs nila na as long as may undergraduate degree, pwede mag try for application. Just wondering if anyone here who has a non-nursing/non-medical undergrad got accepted for graduate entry. Thanks!

Yes may chance ka naman na maaccept sa Bachelor of Nursing ng USC, you can try to send your application, free naman yung assessment ng admissions if through their partner agent dito sa pinas.

Thank you so much for replying po! ❤

LOL though I don't know how, you guys communicate well in different languages. Does a nurse role require police checks in Australia? Is that a special one or the common national police check?

You can extend by enrolling for another course for another student visa. Or apply offshore (meaning nasa Pinas ka maghihintay) if wala pa makapag-sponsor. With the points, you can try to make your English exam a superior one, or take NAATI as well, and additional work experience.

NAATI CCL Test determines a candidate's ability to convey the meaning of a conversation from English language to LOTE (Language Other Than English) and vice versa.

It's your choice on what course to take after, research on the options as well.

    Good day po!

I read one of the posts here na they opted to enrol in another course before their student visa expired to extend their stay in Au while preparing for documents for PR.

Pwede po malaman which course you took? And feasible din po ba yung option to stay if I will have dependents with me?

I'm about to take up bridging at SCU Gold Coast January 2021 and I've been meaning to research para prepared na and we (me, my husband and daughter) won't need to go back to the Philippines after my ANMAC registration.

Hope you guys can help me. Thank you!

Get a nursing conversion course. Be sure to check that the course would lead to AHPRA registration.

And if mapasa nya po ano po pathway nya? OBA pa rin po ba? Thanks po.

Hello po. Nagpa ANMAC assessment ako dati for NEC pero ma expire na this August 2020 tapos need ko po mag pa change to Aged Care. Back to same process po diba pero this time Modified Plus Skills Assessment?

    Thanks in advance!

    Hello Australia-based nurses,

I have a niece in Manila who is currently taking BSN. She's pursuing Australian nursing dream right after passing NLE. Please advise me if the following steps are feasible towards PR.

    1. After passing NLE, take 3 months volunteering or employment.
    2. Pass English Test
    3. Process APHRA registration, take OBA/NCLEX and fly to Adelaide for stage 2 clinical examination. After passing the test and becomes Australian RN, fly back to Manila.
    4. Process student visa in Manila for Master in Nursing.
    5. Take Master in Nursing by Research (Honours) at UNISA. I knew she could qualify masters by research coz she’s a top student in UST Manila.
    6. While taking masters, apply nursing job at any hospital in Regional Area.
    7. If she can get a job and eventually get sponsorship then she could stop studying and proceed to employer sponsorship visa towards PR.
    8. Or finish her 2-year masters degree so she can get enough points for State Sponsorship Skilled Migration in South Australia (where SA graduates are given priority).
      Your thought on this. Thanks.

    skilled migrant now Aussie.

Hello po, out of topic pero sana may makapag advice/opinion kung ano pwedeng gawin sa situation ko.

I took my PTE nung March 2019 para ma i-submit ko yung AGOS 40 form ko sa AHPRA nung feb 2020 nagbabakasakali kasi akong ito ang gawin ko para hindi ko maabutan yung self-check after all the payment, receiving the refusal letter and referral letter to OBA eh mag uundergo pa pala ng Self-check. Kaya na shocked ako kasi they did not inform me na mag uundergo pa pla ng self check.

    My concerns are
1.Ma coconsider kaya nila i-honor yung AGOS 40form ko?

    1. Mag eexpire na kasi ang PTE ko, knowing na ang hirap makakuha ng sched for the exam

And good na yun as your registration for Au RN?

Sorry guys for the long message, I know na marami ding pinoy na ganito ang nangyari sa kanila

    Thank you and God bless!
