CAN A PERMENT RESIDENT SPONSOR A FRIEND IN APPLYING A STUDENT VISA?

Hi. My boyfriend is planning to apply for a student visa and I am willing to sponsor him with finances. I'm just thinking, baka mareject sya dahil iisipin na mag papartner visa lang din kami in the end? thanks sa sasagot.

Just wondering why not just apply for partner visa since PR ka na?

hello everyone. Appreciate all your resplies. hehe. Natatakot ako na not enough ung ebidensya. Hindi pa kami nag lilive in. walang travels. Seaman kasi kaya sobrang bihira kami mag meet. So talagang risky po. Iniisip ko nman kng ssponsor ko sya sa student visa, baka masilip na baka gagawin lang nmin pathway na baka magpakasal dito, which is un ung plano. So first step e student visa pag dating pakasal. pero baka madeny kasi db ang student visa e kelangan iprove mo na uuwi ka Pinas after ng course.

Seek advice from an educational consultant. Madami namang may free services. If you have a solid application with strong statement of purpose, then I'm sure you won't be denied. Kapag gusto, may paraan.

imo. you will already have a problem with sponsoring kasi when you say sponsor there should be evidence of the relationship. Bakit mo sya iisponsoran? kaano ano mo ba sya? ganern. If you can't prove your relationship to the student, you might not satisfy the genuine access to funds requirement. Unless, you send your bf a huge amount of money and let him keep it for a few months (for genuine savings) then apply independently for a student visa.

You can ask the relatives of your bf po na sila nalang ilalagay sa GTE/SOP well in fact ikaw naman talaga mag sponsor sa kanila. Mas convincing kase pag relatives or immediate family.

Kelangan offshore application meaning hanggat di naapprove ung visa di sya makakapunta dito, which is usually 1-2 years ang waiting period. Kaya I'm thinking of him coming here first on a student visa (the government can get more money from students than tourists kaya i prefer student visa more chance of grant) then apply for a partner visa at least I can give a proof na we live together or give them some proof by registering our relationship.

Makakauwi ka. PH passport ka diba? Since PR ka.

Pinag-kaiba lang siguro natin every year for 3yrs pumupunta ako Au para magspend ng xmas-new year para magkasama kami. Only took a few months (roughly 7) after namin pakasal e nakasunod na ko dito sa Au.

Medyo natagalan dahil puro sa away-bati. Lol. Mahirap talaga LDR.

Makakauwi ka. PH passport ka diba? Since PR ka. Ok naman plans mo, nanghihinayang lang ako, gagastos pa kayo for student visa. gagastos pa kayo for tuition, not unless gusto niyo talaga mag aral. instead na puwede na kayo mag simula kumita pareho dito. may dalwang friends kasi ako, nung na PR sila, nag civil wedding na agad sila ng mga gf nila para tapos agad. anyway, good luck sa inyo. please take note ha, sobrang magastos ang student visa and sobrang limited yung working rights.

Makakauwi po for sure but according sa immi kung gusto mo umuwi and there's no valid reason (valid reason like medical, volunteer, etc na nasa immi site which is walang to get married) kelangan more than 3 mos magstay sa labas ng bansa lalo ngayon na kahit citizens di makabalik and sobrang gastos at hirap din dahil sa quarantine dito at Pinas, plane tickets etc., I heard sa ibang kakilala na umuwi, 6 mos naghihintay pa din, laging canceled ung flights, at risky din na baka makapag uwi pa ng Covid sa bahay dahil sa travel. Hay. Pwede nman unlimited work pag holiday sa school at wala namang arte si kuya kahit anong trabaho. Kaya kakayanin . 😅 I appreciate po sobra ang advice mo. Salamat po. 🙏🏻

HAHAHA. #LDRsucks. Sobrang pinahirap ng COVID ang proseso. Kung walang covid he can easily apply for a tourist visa or I can go home and get married so we can apply for partner visa. Hay. Dami ko nang inisp na paraan. 😔

pinkamabilis, sponsor mo sya sa tourist visa, pagdating dito process mo mag student visa sya para mas hahaba ang stay nya, while on the process magpakasal kayo para maka bridging sya into partner visa....

Hay

Tanong lang... why explore both Student or Tourist Visa options at this moment of a pandemic?

It is very hard to come to Australia... even for overseas-stranded Australians.

I think yung timing muna try mo pag-isipan, you're probably concerning yourself over something na next to impossible given the current situation.

Unsolicited advice and reality check lang naman... Peace! :)

He's aiming for July 2021 intake, so hoping by that time baka pwede na makapasok paunti unti given na may visa na (sana maggrant) kesa saka sya mag aasikaso pag bukas na ang border. fingers crossed. 🤞 at least border na lang ang hihintayin.

Kung hindi, isip ng ibang way. hehe.
