Hi
I recently gave birth last February 21. Hindi ko pa na-update sa Immiaccount ko yung change in circumtance na nakapanganak na ako. Upon checking my email kanina lang, nakainitial assessment na po yung application ko and they are requesting for our medicals na (me, husband, and my first born).
Okay lang po ba magpamedical na kami maunang tatlo and after ko makuha ang birth registration ng second child ko? Then tsaka ko mag-update ng 1022 pero i’ll inform nalang na i gave birth already?

Best to do medical exam at the same time so same yung validity date. Medical and police clearances are time sensitive as they are only valid for 12 months so this needs to be factored in when deciding when to do it.
Thanks for the reply maam. However, the immigration only gave us 28 days to give them the additional requirements and medicals. If I wait for my baby’s PSA and passport, lalampas na po kami.
You will need to advice them if the situation. You are given 28 days to reply to s56 letter. It doesn’t necessarily mean you need to provide the documents they are asking you. I don’t know the whole case but usually when a client of ours gets pregnant whilst visa application is in the process, we notify the case officer. The visa application is put on hold until the applicant gives birth and has added the child in the application. Soon after, the case officer will request for police clearance and medical exam for all applicants including the baby.
You need to add your baby in the application first before you do your medical. They will definitely wait. If you do medical now without the baby, they may end up deciding on your application for just the three of you. That means another visa application for the baby, another long wait for you. We’ve done this many times with previous clients and it’s not always the case when clients can provide medical/police clearance within the 28day period. You just need to respond within that timeframe and by notifying them of your situation. This will suffice. Hope that helps.
