Haha. May reviewers po kasi ako ng ASCPi and may mga books like polansky, hubbard pero parang hindi sapat kasi for example pag magrread ako ng additional info sa Rodriguez/bishop book parang ang dami kulang sa reviewers. Huhu.

Books muna ako then reviewers. Pero sa pagbaba sa pinipili ko ung more on topics given ni aims pati kung pang application sya. Then after nun assessments.

Thank you po!

2016 graduate and wala po kami Molecular Pathology or Genomic Pathology.

Before Christmas ako nagpaassess then ung result nabigay March 31 sakin.

Sana walang cause of delay sa time nyo. Wala naman asterisked ung molbio and immunosero. Kina clarify ko lang sa aims ng "Questions MUST be attempted in all sections and those disciplines asterisked (*) MUST be passed." dati kasi need maka 50 points per section.

Hi everyone! March 2022 examinee here.

Just want to share my experience; give you an idea sa bagong examination type. This is quite lengthy.

First and most important, please don’t assume na just because multiple choices na, mas madali na. I was wrong there. Questions are far from basic. Situational, analysis. Worst of all, choices are tricky as well.

At least for now, since they’re continuously making changes with the examination pack. I’m sorry to tell you. Pero last march halos wala. I’d say 5-10% recalls lang. So if you do decide to take the exam, study well. And I mean well.

Histopath, this is the toughest subj for me (together with Chem) Maraming questions na kahit during college parang hindi naman naituro? naencounter. May item pa dun na photo of a tissue stained with H&E and you’ll have to identify the organ. Traumatic talaga haha.

Chem, lots of questions about spectro. Super unexpected.

I think mas pabor ang BB sa may clinical experience talaga (same with hema). Maraming photos, then interpret.

    Micro, halos lahat situational.
“A (gender/age) patient presents with (bla bla symptoms) then on examination (plate/biochem result) was shown. What is the organism.

So correlation. Analysis. But mas masasabi ko pang mas madali micro than the other 4 subjs. Ganun sila kahirap.

To summarize, I’d say the exam’s less on theory and more on experience. Goodluck po sating lahat 🥺 Praying for everyone’s success 🙏🏻

Very insightful. I agree on you! naka relate talaga ako. Guys, more on analysis talaga yung exam even if MCQs sya.

My tips sa kukuha palang, study on a daily basis. Walanh excuses. Gawin mong routine para masanay ka.

Idk if effective sa iba, pero I suggest study different types of Questions and understand the rationale behind. Big help ang Harr and Ciulla sa akin.

Good luck po sa kukuha pa lng 🤘🏻

Grabe sobrang on point po nito esp. sa HP and chem. Wag po magrely lang sa recalls. Unexpected nga po talaga yung mga topics that were included. Like sa micro, meron ding questions about renal physiology (PCT, DCT, loop of henle...). Mejo naging complacent kasi ako sa CM since di naman sya masyadong natatanong before. 🥺

Anyway, wala naman pong imposible. Tiwala lang po talaga. You really have to study smart and always pray to Him 🙏🏻 I'm really rooting for everyone. Kaya po natin to! Godbless us all throughout our journey

Hindi pa po nalabas ang assessment result pero naverify naman po for completeness and nasa assessment stage with ID na din po yung sakin. COE with job title and description, ilang hours per week, salary po yung nakalagay sakin plus first and last payslip po (if current, yung payslip na pinakamalapit po sa date ng employment verification letter) and business contact number and business email add po ng Hr

Yung sa case ko nga po pala, nainform po ako ng Hr namin from previous workplace na talagang cinontact po sila ni AIMS for employment verification. ☺️

Hi! For those po who took PTE dapat po ba in each sections nka 79 ? I'm a bit confused po sa suggestion ng agent ko, to take PTE again. Last yr pa po ako nag PTE then ngayon lng sila nag inform about this. Yung overall score ko po is Superior. I'm asking for suggestions po or ano po ang naging experience nyo deal breaker ba ito? EOI submission step plng ako. Thank you po

To be superior po sa english dapat po each sections 79 above, if may subtest na mas mababa po sa 79 (any score not below 65) kahit 79 po overall or above, sa Proficient po yun papatak, pag may mas mababa po sa 65 sa any subtest Competent po yun, regardless kung 79 or above ang overall. Sabi din po sa amin, kung mag ssubmit po ng EOI, dapat po at the time po na nagsubmit po ng EOI, meron na po onhand na proof of documents na superior or proficient, kasi pag nauna daw po na mag EOI tapos hindi pa pala superior at the time na nagsubmit, magkakaron daw po ng discrepancy. Iupdate na lang din daw po to superior sa time na talagang nakuha na ang target scores.
