Re. Change of name

Hello po. Baka po meron dito who had the same experience or have knowledge about change of name.

So sa driver's licence ko kasama yung middle name (mother's maiden last name), hindi pa ako familiar noon na middle name in Aus = second name. Now on my citizenship interview, I was advised to change my driver's license to remove the middle name since in my application I only included my given/first name and last name. Because technically here in Aus, middle name is second given name, which I don't really have.

So I went to rta nsw, gusto nila magapply pa ako for change of name sa registry of births, deaths & marriages. My PR and medicare have only my first and last name and no issues naman nung nagapply ako.

Worry ko lang is kung magkakaron ba ako ng problems pag nagpa change of name ako. Pinag iisipan ko rin kasi magdual citizen.

Any advice would be helpful.

Kamusta, naayos mo to? Yan din problem ng wife ko now. Kaka submit lang namin ng change of name application kahapon. By post namin ginawa kasi yun suggestion ng service NSW. naayos mo naman?

Update ko lang, just in case meron may same problem.
May 30 - posted docs required for change name certificate
June 21 - received change name certificate
June 22 - went to service NSW to get licence updated. digital licence is now updated. waiting for
the card.
June 29 - Submitted digital licence
June 30 - Citizenship approved

Now waiting for the ceremony
