  2. Sa tuwing, may documents sila sinusbumit(i.e. EOI) or any email conversation sa States re: your application, pinapa-sendan or pinapa-cc niyo rin po ba sa email niyo?
  3. Is your Agent updating you regularly regarding your application or query sa kanila?

Maraming Salamat po sa sasagot.

Matagal na ko. So baka nag iba na hehe. Anyway, nasa signature ko yung timeline ko. Respall nag handle nung akin a long time ago.
    1. Hindi ko hiningi, wala ako hiningi. During that time kasi, i didnt know na may pinoyau. So wala talaga ako idea. Wala ako alam na details. From what I remember though, lahat ng pinasa nila, before submitting, they will send it to me for one last check. Pag ok na ko, dun nila papasa.
    2. Hindi ako naka cc. But like what I mentioned sa 1, dumadaan muna sa akin lahat bago nila pasa.
    3. Hirap sagutin, hindi parati. Like nung may invite rounds after ng PTE at EOI, they told me naman tuwing kailangan yung invite rounds. Pero nung hindi ako na-invite that day, hindi nila ako sinabihan. I had to text them.

    Hope this helps

Walang problema. Good luck, saw your timeline, sana masungkit mo na yung PTE. Hirap ng points system ngayon eh. And regarding yung agent, one advice I can give you, wag ka mahiya. Email mo, text mo or tawagan mo pag gusto mo. Bayad sila, trabaho nila yan. Hindi mo naman sila kinukulit or binabastos, yung relationship niyo is strictly professional. As a paying client, you have every right to contact them whenever you feel like it. I am sure they will not take it against you kahit gaano ka kakulit. all the best.

Re invitation rounds, it’s because we agents were kept in the dark by the Department as well. If you go to the immi website, it only says rounds will be cyclical - no one really knew exactly when it was happening until it happened. But looking at the pattern since July, it looks like invitation round us every two months. Back then, it was every two weeks so it was easy to remind clients, that’s no longer the case now.

I agree with this. You should utilise your agent, that’s why you engaged one….but within reason as well and also being mindful to behave professionally and that agents are humans as well. Minsan there are clients also who make us feel - I’m paying you therefore you have to do this and that, the “entitled” syndrome. There are those, nakakuha na nga ng out of office reply na on leave yung agent, will resort to texting to get hold of the agent- e diba nga on leave? Taking a break from work like any human being would. Hindi naman urgent…I don’t think anyone finds it amusing to be chased about work whilst on leave. Some also think agents will do magic for them. Just be realistic with your expectations when engaging an agent. At the initial email, we always send them the Code of Conduct which all agents have to adhere to, not only that we are required to show this to clients, I think it’s a good practice from our end so that the client is aware of the professional standards they should expect from the agent. Also we provide factsheet about giving immigration advice just to remind clients to be aware of realistic expectations. Often times, client’s dissatisfaction with agents is due to wrong/unrealistic/misunderstood expectations.

If you have questions, always ask. If you have issues with your agent, voice it out so it can be cleared out. A perfect example was what was pointed out re invites, the client is frustrated kasi hindi inaupdate not knowing what happens in the background as far as agents are concerned. Aim to nurture your relationship with your agent as well. There’s also nothing worse than dealing with a client who’s demanding and with attitude or frustrated. Often times this can be avoided with the right attitude in dealing with issues. 😉

Totally agree. During my time kasi, feeling ko makulit talaga ako. Pero never ako tumawag or nag text outside of office hours. Emails, I did, Pero naisip ko naman, my agent will not check her emails after hours. So nababasa Lang niya pag pasok ba niya. To this day, kaibigan ko yung agent na that was assigned to me. Fb friend ko siya, so every time May milestone sa buhay niya, I would congratulate her. Ganun din siya sa akin. There are times siguro dahil sa stress, siguro I stepped over the line. Pero I would always apologise naman pag lumamig na ulo. I guess since friends pa din kami until now, kahit Sobrang kulit ko, I didn’t do anything foul or Baka pinatawad niya Lang ako hehe. At the end of the day, wala ako regrets of getting an agent. I thị during my time for both my wife and myself, 300k++ ginastos ko. Not sure na how much napunta sa agency, baka half. It was worth every peso that I spent.

We engaged them early 2021 pa i think nsa 100k plus na sila that time. It was alot of money. Many would say na kaya DIY. But im not confident doing it on my own considering our circumstances we can’t make a mediocre/basic mistake. For me it was money well spent and it gave me peace of mind. Many of my colleagues engaged Respall and have been in Australia for quite sometime now.

Engaged Respall’s services dn and ok nman sila responsive and gives us sound advice nman dn on what to do. Actually we’re still in the process and just finished lodging our application. Like what they say your free to ask updates. In our case before we started the journey i made sure to know how it will work out para i know lang dn when to follow-up. Responsive dn sila realtime when we were booking our medical just let them know the urgency para maguide ka dn on what to do.

Agree, product din nila ako. 2016 ata ako, medyo forgot na. I was just wondering how much na difference sa price. Parang hindi naman tumaas pala from the time ko until 2021. Thanks

Hi. Hehe.

Sorry to bring this up but sa ilang FB groups, nakikita ko na parang mas mabilis kung naka-DIY vs may Agent. I know naman na every application is unique and it has its own timeline pero madalas ko lang po talaga mapansin na parang mas mabilis ang processing kapag DIY.

It is not wrong to express your thoughts. :)

But an observation is valid only for the cases that are observable to the observer. I say this because, there may be people who hired agents that do not post their timeline/grant in those FB groups at all. Same case here in the forum. This does not make the observation totally wrong, though.

I'm just saying it's not the entire picture. Nobody here can really say for sure if DIYers get faster grants than those with agents, unless there is an absolute case study done to collect substantial data to declare this.

Thanks for the reply sir. I mean yung nakikita mo un status ng application from time to time. You need to ask or confirm pa sa agent. Kaya napa-tanong po ako dito. Salamat ponule sir

Waiting for invite palang po. Ah, pwede po pala yun ganyan.

Yes, pero sa visa stage na yan. Haha. Sa EOI stage and waiting of invite, wala ata talagang choice. You have to check with the agent regularly.

Unsolicited advice lang bro, wag ka mainip. :)

Yes true nakakainip dn talaga naka-agent dn kmi kaya i sort of know how it feels not to see the actual status and question myself if they did it right. But since many of my colleagues used the same agency and was handled by the same agents confident nman na ako na they know what they’re doing. So far satisfied nman ako sa service nila and they update me immediately once meron changes. It has been almost 1yr since we submitted our eoi to this point.

I agree to this. It’s hard to draw a conclusion. I think more than anything else , main reason to focus on when deciding whether to DIY or agent is more to do with how confident you are in finding your way around. If you think you’re able to access the appropriate information you’ll need on your journey, then perhaps a DIY will do but if you want that peace of mind which you’ll only get from getting a professional to guide you, than hiring an agent is the way to go. Faster or slower, I don’t think it really matters as long as you do things right para hindi sayang yung investment.

I hear you….imagine from the perspective of the agent. How many of those clients na naiinip. The downside on our end is clients tend to set unrealistic expectations from us in the end. The journey can get intense but in the end, when we get to the finish line - visa grant, there is that sense of fulfilment form both sides that finally the visa has been granted. Clients in the end show their appreciation for the guidance we have provided. From our end, although things got intense along the way, it was nice to have been part of their journey one way or the other. We close the case knowing we’ve contributed something nice in someone’s life.
