For me tho nasa WA na talaga ako ever since for the last 4 yrs (whole state is regional) so hindi ko to naging problema.

Ang reqts lang naman sa 191 is eto:

Live and work in a regional area for 3 yrs
Earn the income threshold 53900 AUD for 3 yrs

Kung nasundan mo yang 2 yan you should be good. Mga nursing friends ko na naunang ma grant ng 491 ay magsuusbmit palang ng 191 application so wala pa ako idea kung gano katagal grant nito. Hopefully not too long haha.

Hindi ka ba nahirapan mag adjust sa WA considering na isolated State sya? At first kasi ang plan ko ay Perth then kinausap ako ng pinsan ko na nasa NSW to try muna sa Newcastle bago mag Perth.

I cant compare sa pag adjust kasi nung dumating ako nung Feb 2019 e WA na ako. So all I know is ang lifestyle dito sa Perth. Single lang din kasi ako so madali lang saken magsustain ng sarili.

When it comes sa isolation ng Perth, hindi naman issue yan. Hindi to barren wasteland na walang kahit ano HAHAHA. Ang problema lang is matagal ang flight mo papunta sa eastern states (halos 5 hrs to Sydney). Same timezone dito sa pinas and magkakaroon na ng direct flights to MNL sa March so that could be advantageous. Nasa tao yan kung saan naman sila gusto magstay. Ako kasi madali lang masatisfy, basta malayo na sa gulo ng Pinas masaya na ako lol

Something to consider - Perth is a capital city whereas Newcastle is a secondary city. I don't know what your occupation is, pero some occupations are likely to have more opportunities in a capital city rather than a regional city.

Tama po ito. outside Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane considered po na regional area.

Any tips on how to do it offshore i know mahirap mkahanap ng rental at the moment due to rental shortage. Hoping that by the time na mg-big move kmi better na un situation.

yung cousin ko and family niya, nag big move na din sa sydney pero nahirapan pa din maghanap ng housing. madami daw kasing requirements. so i think mas mahirap sya gawin offshore. alam ko need mo din talaga iinspect muna yung place bago ka magbayad. may mga nagsusuggest dito AirBnB muna pero baka pricey for a family of 4

I don't know kung may nakatry na dito sa forum pero may nakikita akong mga "relocation agents" sa isang facebook group for migrants moving to Oz. Example of these na mga nakita ko ay The Rent Fairy, Journee Agency, The Renters Agent and Claymore Thistle. So these agents help na makasecure na ng permanent place to rent/stay ang migrants before their intended move. Sila na yung nagcoconduct ng personal inspection and mag aarrange ng docs needed on behalf of their clients. Mostly ibang nationalities yung nakita kong nag avail ng mga services nito so I was also wondering kung merong Pinoy na nakatry na din mag avail ng ganitong services.

Actually airbnb talaga ang initial option but yun nga sobrang hirap nga daw ng rental even para sa mga locals dn. Meron kmi relative far north last option sana sila regional sila and work wise mejo struggle dun and ayoko maka-abala dn sana sa kanila.

Thanks for this insight! May idea po ba kayo how long it took them to secure a house/apartment? Also by requirements, did they specify what they are? I'm aware na need talaga ng physical inspection, proof of funds, referrals.

Ang naiimagine ko kasi for myself, magbubook ako ng Airbnb for temp stay ng 1-2 weeks and then during that time ako magaapartment hunting, pero dito palang sa Pinas, say mga 2 weeks before the flight, icocontact ko na yung mga agents to schedule an inspection. Do you think this is doable?
