Aware ba PH immigration natin what 491 is? May residence card ba yan? Sa case ko kasi pag pabalik ng Ireland, sinasabi ko lang resident ako ng Ireland then show the card then ok na, kahit di pa ko actually permanent resident ng Ireland.

Just to share my experience on PH Immigration.

"CFO only registers Filipino emigrants with permanent resident visas. Aastralian Skilled Work Regional (provisional) Subclass 491 is not classified as a permanent resident visa. You are not required to register with the CFO.... You may need to attend a PDOS for OFWs..."

Or would you know kung pwede sa nom-regional temporarily (with relatives) habang naghahanap ng work?

pwede ka muna sa non regional for a bit, pero no one knows the exact time na need mo pumunta sa regional agad kasi wala naman talagang ganung instruction. I had a friend na nagrantan ng 491 who lives in Sydney, after 2 mos lumipat na sya ng regional. Just update your address sa immi when you move. I think the most reasonable timeframe is around a month sa non-regional, if 3 mos+ baka pushing it na yun

Just to share my experience on PH Immigration.

the specific requirements for work contract certification by POLO (Philippine Overseas Labor Office) may vary depending on the country and its regulations. If the company refuses to sign the addendum, you may need to seek legal advice or discuss the matter with the relevant labor authorities to understand your rights and options.

The Skilled Work Regional (Provisional) ps 491 visa is an Australian visa that allows skilled workers to live and work in designated regional areas. Since this visa is not a traditional overseas employment contract, it is unlikely that the Philippine Overseas Employment Certificate (OEC) would be required for returning to Australia. However, visa requirements and regulations may change, so it's essential to check with the Philippine immigration authorities or consult an immigration expert for the latest and most accurate information.

Hindi naman tayo OFW, we are immigrants. And 491 is a provisional PR visa. We are Skilled Migrants.

Napaka inconsistent talaga ng immigration natin. Ito pala nabasa ko lang, OFW- stay dependent on work contract while IMMIGRANTS- No work contract required. Shift from Immigrant to Permanent Resident to Citizen

understood the inconsistency , 491 can still be renewed and extended , but is still considered temporary in nature but it can give way to PR pathway. Onus is upon IO as it is a gray area , for me is best to err at the side of caution until you convert it into 191.

Original copy of Signed addendum (Annex A) as hereto attached to comply with the minimum requirements of the POEA in employing Filipino Workers abroad which will form part of your existing employment contract. OR An insurance policy/Health Insurance in Australia (with front page -complete name and policy number) may be submitted in lieu of the addendum provided there is a provision for repatriation and medical evacuation to the Philippines in case of worker's death or severe illness.

Just to share my experience on PH Immigration.
