Kumusta po, My name is Faith & I am a Year 12 student in NSW, Australia. One of my HSC subjects is Society & Culture and the major work for this subject is a Personal Interest Project. The research topic I have chosen for my project is ‘The Challenge to be Filipino in Australia.’ Is there a challenge to be Filipino in Australia? I know a challenge for me is staying connected to my Filipino roots while living in Australia. I want to know what you think, and your experiences. My aim by the end of this project is to address the challenges & the ways to overcome or understand these challenges as a means to better support others in the Filipino community. However, I am in need of participants for my questionnaire. I am reaching out on this platform in hope that there are Filipinos willing to participate.
