@stewart hindi ka makapaglodge kung wala ka pa suitable assessment from ea.. So first step is ielts.. Kung makakuha ka ng band 8 sa lahat ng components, then you won't need to take pte acad for your points.. Ea requires to have a minimum of band 6 sa bawat component ng ielts for them to assess your application..

@stewart expenses are very subjective. assuming na ganito scenario mo:

1 take of english exam 300-350aud
skills assessment 600-1200aud depends if mag fast track ka and i avail mo points advisory
visa itself 3600 aud if individual as of today
medicals around 100-200 aud again it depends din
miscellaneous expenses din like, ctc, police clearances among others..

okay sir. i prefer to do it myself kesa mag consultancy agency po ako. mas mapapamahal kasi pag andun. eh sabi naman po dito sa forum na to, kaya naman kahit di mag agency. hihingi nlng po ako ng gabay sa inyo. salamat po.

@stewart bata ka pa naman kaya pwedeng wag magmadali. pagaralan mong mabuti requirement ng EA for skill assessment para maihanda mo na mga ipapasa mo. after you reach 25 at submit na ng EOI. sa ngayon simulan mo na din magipon at hindi lang sa pagkakaroon ng visa grant matatapos ang gastos.

@engineer20 copy sir. sinisimulan ko na nga po mag ipon sir eh. target amount ko po atleast 300k sana. sisimulan ko po magprocess by January 2017, tamang tama, pasok na po ako sa 25 at sa 3 years of working experience. hopefully makapasok po ako.

Hi Everyone,

My husband is just starting with the process of migration in Australia as Facilities Manager. We have read that VETASSESS is the assessing body for this. In their requirements, they did not require to provide evidence of English language proficiency/ IELTS. How will that affect the point system or the application process? Is it possible that they will ask for the IELTS result afterwards?

@tiongson_valerie vetassess does not require english test result as requirement for skill assessment.

@tiongson_valerie evidence of English language proficiency po will be needed when you submit your EOI, along with the assessment from VETASSESS .

Some assessing authority may require English, but some don't. If you are going for General Skilled Migration (GSM) for subclasses 189/190/489, then you need to have evidence of English which is a minimum of 6.0 across all 4 components of the IELTS. If you are a bit short and did not meet the pass mark (60 points), it would be ideal to obtain 7.0 or even higher. Getting 6.0 will not give you any point. 7.0 gives you additional 10 points and 8.0 an additional 20 points.

it depends kung anong visa aapplyan mo.. most of us here went through the direct PR visa application which is subclass 189 or 190. kung may magsponsor na employer sayo, you can apply for 457 subclass or direct entry pr which is 186 ens subclass..

1st step is you have to get your academic qualifications and work experience to be assessed with the necessary assessing authority in Australia, in our case, Engineers Australia. Download the EA MSA booklet sa website ng EA and read through the step by step process ng paggawa ng CDR. You must also have an IELTS TRF na minimum 6 on each component before ka nila iassess..

@se29m aah, kala ko pwede dito sa SG... pero ok din na umuwe na lang isabay ang ibang docs. may nakita kasi ako, yung iba kinukuha NBI after receiving ITA, in your opinion mas ok ba na kunin na lahat agad ng docs? 🙂
