@pinoysg You only need to get at least 60 points to be invited by DIBP. Ideally, the higher the points the better chances of getting an invite.

@ EXCEL. i tried to assess myself and i think i got more than 60. I thinked. Im a chef here in singapore and cruise ship. But i dont know if im qualified enough to be a pr in au. @WALANJOSG Tega sg din po b kyu? Pnu kumuha ng NBI clearance pde b dto nlng sg?

@pinoysg csol means you can apply thru the state that offer your occupation thru visa 190 or 489..

hello good morning sa inyo. Inquire ko lang po nag lipat na ng office ang dating company na pinagworkan ko but there are still using yung letterhead (inuubos na muna nila bago magpalit) at yung phone number ginagamit pa din... nagupdate na din po ang website at binago na ang details dun iba na. Saan ko po pwedeng ilagay yung bagong address ng previous company ko? sa Form 80 ba? Maglolodge na po kasi ako and baka kasi magverify ang immi if ever man iba na kasi agn address.. Hello Forumers,

Need help po, hinde ko po sure kung anong kukuhain ko na visa, kung 189 or 190.Or pwede po bang both yan i lodge sa DBIP?

Currently yung points ko na nakikita pag 189-General Skilled Migrant visa nasa 55 points ang makukuha ko (based on the estimated points combined: Age=30pts, Education (vetasses PTA) = 15 pts, IELTS (assuming) 10 pts).

I am thinking of getting the 190 - State sponsored Visa para i can get extra 5 points to meet the 60 pts.

Currently na assess ako as suitable for migration sa ACS as System Analyst and i went through RPL route (8 years experience na minusan ng 6 years, so 2 years lang ang skills eligible for points).

Then nag points test advice ako sa vetasses para maka kuha ng points 15 for education.

Medyo naguluhan lang kasi ako dun sa sabi sa vetassess na nakalagay don sa application form nila na, "I intend to apply for General Skilled Migration program".

@coachella9 if you only have 55pts, sa 190 ka applicable.. GSM din naman ang 190, the difference is yung 189 eligible ka sa kahit saang State. Sa 190, morally obligated ka to live and work for 2 years sa state na nagsponsor sayo..

@guenb hi po, we are in the uae ask ko lang po. my husband is the one who's applying for skilled general immigration. di namin na reach yung 60 pts system. is there any other way pa kaya para ma reach naming yung total 60 pts age 15pts IELTS 10 work experience 5pts bachelors degree 15 pts toatal of 45 pts only... any suggestion po pls? thanks...

@rina74 Try to retake the english requirement (IELTS) and aim for 8 in all 4 components. Equivalent din sya ng 20 points if ever. Then you can try to apply for SS (state sponsorship) if mainvite ng state that's 5 points. And minimum requirement points for SS is at least 55 points.
