@eltrym28 same kayo ng case ng misis ko, BS chemistry pero current work roles is QA na , me previous work experience as lab analyst but hindi na pasok sa last and yung years. feedback ng VETASSESS advisory sa kanya e ibang nominated occupation ang ipa assess. If VETASSESS assessing body mo, try to check yung advisory service nila.

May ongoing po kasi kaming submitted na full skills assessment sa Vetassess im not sure po tama yung assumption namin sa claiming of points

@jhazz01 your skills assessment outcome states if your degree is equivalent to Oz.. then you can claim point, the outcome letter from assessing body is your supporting doc on claiming this 15points

@eltrym28 , you are required atleast 3 years experience in the past 10 years to claim a point. So you can claim all experience related sa choosen occupation mo from 2006 up.

@Xiaomau82 do we need to submit the original hard copies po sa lahat ng submitted documents? Kasi in my case, some of my documents are scanned copies nalang. No original available..

Hi po I just want to ask for guidance po. My real plan po is for me to apply for a student visa but due to some changes because of my work I plan to divert to skilled independent but first I need to earn points as of the moment kulang pa po ako ng points. I graduated last 2015 BS in Accounting Technology basically my course is the same as BS in Accountancy but my course is only a 4 year course whereas Accountancy is a 5 year course now and I can't take the board exam since I didn't take up some subjects like Audit, Advance Accounting 2 etc. Sa mga nakapagpaccess sa CPA Australia or sa ibang accessing bodies need po ba that you have a license here in the Philippines?

@melvenb hindi na need isubmit original docs but un mga sa submit na docs scanned copies of the orignal dapat or make sure na colored copy sya

@jhazz01 based sa supporting docs mo na ipapasa sknila.. assess nila ang qualification mo and yes vetassess's opinion matters here.. for exp nmn vetassess will give an opinion on how many years ang pwede claim, but dibp has the final say.. though they, mostly value, the assessing body's opinion on relevant exp..

pls double check ah, general statement ang sinabi ko kasi sa EA ako nagpa-assess, vetassess may have a different ruling.. ask those who sought vetassess skills assessment para mas sure. 😃

15pts- comparable to Australian Bachelor Degree

5 pts -less than 5yrs relevant experience for skilled employment assessment.

Civil Engr, 65pts.. tinaon ko tlga na yung PTE ko e papatak na malapit s invitation rounds.. tsaka swerte n din na ok pa ang occupation ceiling s CE..

@aranayad its not required that you are a CPA from Philippines to get a positive outcome, though it has some bearing.

What you can do is to get a syllabus from your school to support that your degree is equivalent to AU bachelors degree.

Which school you graduated?

If you opt for skill independent you need at least 60 points to get an invite.

Work experience is at least 3 years to earn 5 points.
