Student visa does not guarantee PR at the end of your study.

Hingi po sana ako bg advise, di kasi namin alam ng husband ko kung ano ba dapat ang gawin. Pareho kaming licensed Engineers pero si husband, sa Software QA nagwowork ever since (6years) habang ako paiba iba ng work. 1yr exp ko sa Software Engineering, tpos 2 years 10 months sa Project Management under Telco.. sino po kaya sa amin ang dpat maging main applicant?

Target namin Visa 190... qualified po kaya kami? 28yo kami pareho.

@piput01 mas maganda po cgro si hubby ang main applicant since mas mataas ang makukuha nyang points sa work experience dahil longer ang experience nya sayo. pero check pa din po individual pts nyo to see which one gets the higher score

if you can reach 75, that's better.

factors include nominated occupation, occupation ceiling etc

@alzayon the last 65 pointer sa 189 visa na nainvite is last 2017 pa. 65 makes you eligible lang pero unlikely mainvite with the trend nowadays

By the way po, prang may nabasa po kasi ako na kapag IT-related work or if si ACS ang mag aassess ng skills mo, may certain number of years ang automatic binabawas sa work exp.. 4 years daw po ang deduction. so if 6 years working sya, it means kay ACS, 2 years lang ang valid. wala pong points and 2yrs na work exp, tama po ba? naguguluhan tlga po ako.

@piput01 that's correct if 2 years lang ang naassess for claiming points, unfortunately walng points to claim

@piput01 it all depends on your qualification and it’s equivalence to australian qualification. The minimum year they deduct is 2. Best to read and understand the guidelines provided by ACS on their website.

@RheaMARN1171933 @se29m aw, that's sad to hear. we are aiming for 75pts po kasi sana para mas malaki ang chance pero mukhang malabo considering na 6yrs lang exp nya under ACS.. by the way, aware po ba kayo kung ano yung skill na pipiliin if licensed ECE ka dito and working sa area ng project management for telco?

@phicwhlc walang show money, kung pang visa lang kayo meron, need mo pa din mag ipon para pag bigmove nyo may reserve funds kau to survive there while looking for job. Unless may work na nag aantay.

Hello mayron po ba ditong nagpa skills assessment kay CPA Australia? question lang sana, dun sa may contract, di ko na kasi mahanap at natapon na ung contract ko with my employer mga 4years ago, ok lng ba yun, anong pede a substitute? Then regarding sa SSS contribution, since mayrong ilang years na OFW ako automatic kasi voluntary contribution ito, may mga 5-6months ako na di nakapaghulog (nalimutan ko kasi) although after that e consistent na ung hulog sa SSS ko, will this have an effect sa skills assessment ko, ano kaya pede kong isubstitute dun? Maraming salamat sa sasagot mga sir.
