Thanks @RheaMARN1171933. Ang nangyari kasi is ang complete name is Juan( First Name) Gonzalez (Middle Name) Dela Cruz (Surname). Ang nakalagay sa Visa is Juan Dela Cruz lang. Nung nag lodge kami ng visa is ininclude ko naman yung middle name ko sa given names. pero dumating visa nawala na sya.
Maybe worth calling the immigration trunk line? Never had issues with the visa grants we’ve had for our Filipino clients.
Middle names are confusing. That’s my issue right now as well. I migrated about 15 years ago, was young then...tapos whenever I’m asked to write my given names on legal documents before, I always put my mum’s maiden name under given names since for me it’s not my surname. So when I got married and wanted to change the name on my driver’s licence, they could drop my maiden name but not my mother’s kasi Sa licence ko since it’s under given name and not surname. So until now I couldn’t use my husband’s surname. I have to change my name by deed poll so I can keep my maiden name and drop my mum’s. So don’t make the same mistake as I did when you get to Australia. All Filipinos get confused with this during the early days in Australia.
Anyway, hopefully the immigration call centre can help with your query.
