This depends kung saan ka mag migrate...

Like for instance here in Melbourne pretty much straightforward ang fare calculations dito with Zone 1 fare capped at $7.xx per day and Zone 1+2 is capped at $11.xx per day.

I live in Zone 1 and Zone 2 area hence I am only paying $7.xx (can't remember the exact centimo figures) everyday - mahal pa din compare sa buses and trains diyan sa SG though.

Nothing like gothere.sg but there here in Melbourne there is the PTV site whereby it will give you directions re: point to point directions for public transportation - no details on the fare but like I have mentioned, that matter is pretty much a straightforward fact naman dito sa Melbourne.

@tartskobsky yung sa car rego. Yun po ba yung monthly installment sa car?fir how many yrs to pay po yan?gusto ko lng dn po magka idea kung kukuha ng car.if installment ba mas maganda o full payment na. Ilang oercent po usually yung interest?and yung insurance fixed napo yan?

@kremitz hi madam, rehistro lang po ito. iba pa po iyong monthly installment kung kukuha kayo new car. Luma na ito kaya cash nabili. Iyong rehistro po ay either 3 months($184) or 12 months($690).

Iba talaga ang standard of living nateng mga pinoy. Nagbabasa ko sa expatforum ang minimum salary nila eh 86K for single and 100K yan eh survive pa, not living comfortably.

Thanks mate hehe living within the means ika nga. Di pa pinapalad magkatrabaho kaya maliit lang kunsumo sa gasolina haha.

Sa singapore doble nito ang monthly namin, bahay at yaya pa lang. Kaya mura na yan budget na yan pero komportable pa naman. Tiyaga lang sa paghanap ng trabaho.

We will be moving to Melbourne on 6th November. Looking forward to share our actual budget soon. 🙂

By the way, sa mga taga-Melbourne, baka meron kayo ma-refer na apartment 1BR or 2BR north of the city preferably Zone 1. We will be staying on a temporary accommodation arranged by a fellow member ng pinoyau pagdating namin until we can get our own place. Laking blessing talaga niya. 🙂

@Ermitonio - Yep, medyo may kamahalan lalo na pag mahilig kumain sa labas. But if marunong ka mag grocery at magluto, makakatipid ka.
