@Pinoy_Imphotep Ano palang occupation ang pina assess mo sa Vetassess? Architect? Kasi napakahirap nyan mag positive ang result kasi from what i heard, pero research mo pa kung paano ka ma recognized as architect ang profession sa OZ. I suggest you go for Project Builder or architectural Draftsperon, but research mo kung saan ka talaga pasok kasi I have a friend nag pa assess ng Project Builder but negative result nya sa vetassess so nag submit sya pa ng panibagong assessment uli which is panibangong gastos na naman, but this time as architetural draftsperson. Ayun naging positive ang result. Now he is in OZ na living for 3years na mahigit doon.

Check niyo na lang yung Project Builder at architectural Draftsperson sir. Project Builder pwedeng visa 189 while architectural draftsperson is only visa 190 for PR application.

@OZingwithOZomeness salamat sa pagreply at advise mo bro. nagtataka lang kasi ako bat ayaw magproceed sa payment stage ni vetassess kasi humihingi pa ng mga documento gaya ng nasabi ko sa previous post ko...pero inupload ko na lahat ng necessary related documents as proof to the information supplied..kaso yung nga nagpoprompt pa rin ng message asking to upload transcript/diploma tsaka award certificate. anzsco 312199 ang tinatry kong ipaassess ky vetassess kasi nalaman ko initially thru visabureau website na eligible ako on 190 at 489 visa. Pero nung anzsco 232111 ang inilagay kong nominated occupation, eligible ako on 189,190, at 489 visa. Pero anzsco 312199 ang gusto kong subukan ipaassess ky vetassess. Kung sakaling magpositive, isusunod kong ipaassess yung anzsco 232111 ky AACA.

just my 2 cents. kung 312199 ang pinapaassess mo, looking at the states na open, ACT lang ang mejo ok na state, NT from what i read on this forum ay isa sa pinaka matumal magbigay ng sponsorship at madaming hinihingi na conditions. TAS is not on mainland, SA you need 85 points, and QLD is offering 489 visa which is skilled regional provisional visa, which is mas lamang lang ng kunti ang 190 in terms of benefits ( i think?).

I know madami dito na initially don't want to apply as Architectural draftsperson 312111 para sa assessment, because Architecture graduate tayo and licensed pa sa Pinas, but looking at the options ng sponsoring state, halos same lang ang nagbibigay ng sponsor states plus available din sya sa NSW, which right now has lots of job opening for Architecture graduates because of the constructions boom ( according to my Uni classmate). I think this is the best option for us Filipino architects if we want the easiest pathway to Australia. Now if we want to be recognized as Architects once we get there that's another story and process.

I just came very interested recently in trying a move to AU nung nalaman ko ang eligibility ko by checking thru visabureau wherein it says i'm 85 points on 190 ss visa and 90 points on 489 ss visa on 312199 nominated occupation. But nung 232111+partner and inassign kong occupation (where apparently we both have the same occupation, age, years of experience overseas plus child), it resulted to a 90 points on 190 ss visa, 95 points on 489 S/T visa, and 85 points on 189 independent visa.

Medyo puzzled ako dito ky vetassess kasi it keeps on prompting a message saying that the transcript/diploma at award certificate kelangan daw iupload whereas inupload ko na lahat ng documents. I already had 32 documents uploaded and submitted to vetassess but still it is not allowing me to proceed where I want to fill in the blank section on Fees and Payments documents kasi zero upload pa sya.

I would appreciate anyone who could give advise on how to move this step forward. Aside from this, medyo i find it challenging ang assessment on AACA. Kasi since I've been reading this forum just recently and knew about our fellows' experience, so far ang nalaman ko ay wala pang nakatanggap ng positive outcome upon trying AACA assessment. So i did my research where I happened to check the adelaide university's bachelor degree course in architecture. I came to know na their syllabus is having a 69 total units for the entire duration nung course which is of 3 years period. I am aware that this is just an undergraduate degree course for AU education. Now when I compared it with the PH based education (BSc-Arch) and sum up all the AR subjects that we had, the total of units plays around 129-145 depende sa structure ng syllabus nung university catering the architecture course and it varies depending on which school year attended. I would even double the appreciation if someone like us here who had previous attempt in submitting to AACA and share their experience on why they were given a negative outcome and what was the recommendation to be fulfilled in order to be recognized by AACA.

@Pinoy_Imphotep Di ko rin maimagine bakit ayaw mag proceed yung vetassess mo.. hehe Di ko na rin matandaan ang specifics nyan bro. I suggest try contacting their customer support if di mo ma-figure out. Mahirap din kasi mag suggest na wala sa harapan ko mismo ang interface ng vetassess at your situation hehe kasi nga nakalimutan ko na specifics nyan. basta during my time sinunod ko lang isa isa at next next at upload upload lang hanggang lumusot.

Regarding sa AACA wala akong experience dyan bro kaya hintay na lang tayo sa iba nating mga kababayan na may experience dyan. If you have the option to go for visa 189 since maganda yung experience and mataas ang points mo, go mo lang pero if nagmamadali ka mas mabilis ang processing ng visa 190. Last option mo na lang yung visa 489 which is provisional visa lang. So we aim for PRShip kaya 189 or 190 lang piliin mo. 🙂 Good luck bro.

@kaidenMVH Kakabasa ko lang nung 10/10 pages na guidelines in order to succeed an AACA assessment. Medyo maeffort sya kung iisipin at gustuhing ifulfill ng isang applicant. What worries me kung gaano maging cooperative ang school in fulfilling my request to the department. I noticed sa mga naresearch kong syllabus na Bsc Arch course in PH, hindi ganun kaelaborate ang pagpresent in pdf format. Subject number, subject description, at subject number of units lang ang nilalagay. It would really be a big help for the graduates of this course kung ang bawat subject ay nakadefine on what the students will learn, what they will study, the hours allotted every class and how it is done kung lecture ba lab online etc.. As this would become the basis of AACA if our PH education is comparable to AU education. AACA wont recognize our work experience. From the above mentioned alone, if the applicant failed to provide those data for AACA assessment as to be their basis for comparison, without effort and time na siguro nilang bibigyan ng letter of negative outcome ang isang applicant. Andyan pa yung gagawa ang applicant ng self assessment matrix requirement na issubmit along with the application to AACA, prior to taking the AACA APE..time consuming din pala eto. It seems the 232111 is a long road to me but i think doable and achievable sya depende nlng sa appetite at capacity to pay the fees ng applicant.

Napaisip isip tuloy ako na magaral ulit at magenroll nung mga AR subjects na wala sa syllabus noong school year na inattenan ko. I can say maswerte ang mga late generation ngayon na archi students kasi well structured na ang mga syllabus ngayon at closely comparable na sa AU education. It only matters how they can provide the proof that indeed their education is comparable with the AU.

Parang magiging abogado ang kalalabasan na experience ng mga gustong magapply at push ng AACA recognition neto daig pa yung thesis. hehehe

@Pinoy_Imphotep ano point breakdown mo? tulad ng sinasabi nila mas ok chances ng PR pathway mo kung arki draft ang ipapaassess mo.

@Pinoy_Imphotep bear in mind that the whole point of having your skills assessed is to get PR visa. yun visa na makukuha natin won't have any bearing pagdating natin sa OZ kung architect, architectural draftsperson, or any profession sa building or archi ang magiging trabaho natin. Even if you're education gets recognized by AACA, you won't be able to practice Architecture in Australia unless you fulfill all the requirements before being accredited. Also, from other forums that i've read, it's not only Filipinos that are having difficulty but even Brits UK chartered architects who've studied in UK get's negative assessment, while someone from India gets a positive assessment. Why? i don't know. maybe the Indian guy puts more effort and presented his case following all the guidelines set by AACA. but it can be done, getting a positive assessment.

My friend tried calling AACA before when they we're just starting to gather documents to ask what is exactly needed to get a positive assessment, they just say bluntly that it's all in the website and they won't explain why they give you a negative assessment.So for me why go through all the hassle, when there's an easier PR pathway? Once i get there, if i really want to practice and get accreditation, i'll get my Masteral Degree and take their exam.

kailangan mo ng positive result from your assessment and English proficiency exam for your EOI to progress.

@Hendro tama si sir @kaidenMVH . Kailangan nga po positive assessment muna and may results na si PTE. Dun lang po kasi pwede ma-compute yung points nyo na gagamitin ni Skillselect na basis para ma-invite 🙂

@kaidenMVH thank you for your input. I got all the answers yesterday upon reading the 10/10 pages by AACA on how they do the assessment.

As how I've understood the guidelines (lets take this statement of mine as an example just to get a clear picture), its like the UAP in the Philippines as the assessing body, then if a non-filipino applicant tries to submit for assessment and found their education equivalent or higher, then they'll be allowed to take the licensure exam for architects by the PRC. I'm just not sure though if the above mentioned had a history in reality.

True. I also had a work colleague who is an architect back home in his country (white south african), and had an experience working in australia but his profession was not architect but a project builder/associate/architectural technologist/technician or something like that in nature who is someone in the construction field doing site supervision.

@engineer20 I am still undecided so i just left my vetassess still incomplete though I've move forward upon deleting all the post grad education short courses information and the related docs that I uploaded as a proof. Yun pala ang nag cause kung bakit nagpoprompt ng message for not allowing me to proceed in the payment. For now, while waiting for the IELTS exam report that I took few days ago, I'll just do my further research and seek which occupation is more in light to my overseas experience and in demand right now and open for 190 & 489 ss. I became a little bit suspicious, doubt and wondering upon knowing about having nec on 312199 anzsco. I got aware what nec stands for upon reading other forums that the (99) represents the nec which also applies for other occupation. I want to understand first and get a clear picture on what is the scope of a certain occupation having nec or how far can it hold a task & responsibilities as i'm pretty sure it affects the figures before getting offered. Basically I just want to see first which state whose got a big pond with giant tunas. I know it may take a while though, and by the time i can make up my decision on which nominated occupation to push thru for assessment hopefully within this month I hope i can finally make thru with payment for assessment. Then I'll be on the waiting time stage. I guess I'll just have to work on with the preparation of AACA assessment once i'm in AU if granted a visa. I'm projecting a 3-4years long of road to venture for this AACA accreditation.
