@li_i_ren: Hello there! Yung car mo does not involve on-road costs pa by the way. So hindi siya yung drive-away price. And may insurance pa babayaran. Plus, membership to RACQ. Well, RACQ yung sa queensland. Hindi ko lang alam sa NSW.
Tsaka elaine, pansin ko it has about 120,000 kms on it na. It's kinda high. Yung 6-monthly servicing nito, I'm thinking, mahal siguro. I'm just thinking, you're forking out at least 14k, malaking halaga na rin. In my opinion, may available VW gulf with 15,000 km 2010 model at <$16k for example. Low mileage na yun compared to a 120,000 km. You can't go wrong with a VW really, maganda reviews niyan, consistent. Just my two-cents lang naman if you're considering other options within a set budget. 🙂
Also sabi nila, if buying second-hand, buy from a dealer UNLESS you know the private seller. Kasi, with a dealer, may habol ka with the law. Wala daw masyado laws protecting against private dealings eh, in case magka-aberya.
A few months back, Nissan was offering 0% interest on their Dualis, Xtrail, Murano. Pero you're right, madami fine-print. Parang ok lang siya for brand-new cars. May tiningnan kasi ako nung Subaru XV demo car with 12% interest. Mas mura pa rin kesa a zero % Dualis, for example. Tapos mas loaded ang Subaru XV compared with the Dualis. Kaya kahit demo car yung XV, parang mas sulit pa rin. Eh, pag demo car, good as brand new pa rin yan eh. With 2nd-hand price. With brand new coverage, road-side assist etc.
As to your question, nagtanong ako sa NAB for personal loans dati. And if you're cashing out at least 5-7k for a car, baka less interest. Though I didn't get to the point na nag-apply ako ng loan. Maybe you can consider that?
Actually, sa kaka-research ko about cars and such, hindi tuloy ako nakabili hehe. Andami kasing kailangan isipin talaga. Hayz! [-(
