186 ENS Visa Timeline

Hello everyone, I just have a query, does ENS means an employer will already sponsor an applicant while still outside OZ? Meaning, me sure work na before arriving there?

186 - Permanent Residency

457 - Temporary Residency

Pareho ang 186 at 457 na kailangan ng employer sponsorship. Noong nag-apply ako, same ang application process pero magkaiba ng requirements like for example no. of years ng work experience, etc.

Mas ok kung check mo sa website nila para mas sigurado. Eto yung website www.immi.gov.au

457 visa is temporary resident

you have been sponsored by an approved business
you have the required skills to fill a position nominated by an approved business.
No skill select or points requirement. In short you need an employer in order for you to obtain this visa.

186 visa is a permanent resident

has 3 pathways either TRT, DE or agreement stream
have been nominated by an approved Australian employer
are younger than 50 years of age, unless you are exempt
meet the skills, qualifications and English language requirements, unless you are exempt

apply under the stream for which you were nominated.

Hello po I am on student visa (main) and my husband took forklift license. Pareho kami na employ ng iisanh employer. interested kami sponsoran ng employer namin under ens 186, ask ko po sa a if my husband (as student visa dependent) ang mas qualified ma sponsoran after 3 yrs? Kasi he has full time work rights and ako 20hrs per week lang. Pls advise po thank you

For ENS visa application, you need to look for or must have an employer who is willing to sponsor you. Normally, applicants who are already working here in Australia apply for this visa to get Permanent residency. But not all employers are qualified to be a sponsor. Employers still need to apply to be a sponsor.

As of email updates 14 March 2016, DIBP processing now those applications were lodged mid aug 2015!

my nomination was lodged by the company last Oct 2015. It was approved last 20 March 2016. I am now in the process of lodging my visa. I was advised by the employer to wait for the nomination approval before i lodge the visa application. Although may mga naglolodge ng visa application before nomination approval. I guess depende sa employer.

@epiboy99 same case tayo. We just recently lodged the nomination and we will be waiting for the nomination to be approved before we lodge my application. Have you lodged your application already? If so, are you on bridging visa a or b? the reason why we will be waiting for the nomination to get approved is because of this visa transition once our application has been submitted. If the nomination gets rejected, and the bridging visa has taken effect, i will need to leave after 28 days. That's what they've told me. Is this true? Best of luck! I hope processing time for your application wont take another 6 months . 🙂

@aanover I will be lodging the application by next week. I am just waiting for the AFP clearance for my wife. They did not mentioned about the bridging visa since my working visa is still valid till September 2017. Temporary residence transition stream kami ng family. I will clarify sa HR.

sir @epiboy99, if you can post updates here, that will be helpful. mine's till Feb 2019 kaya big risk to lodge, then nomination gets denied...

@aanover i do not think you have anything to worry about the approval of your nomination. Medyo matagal lang talaga kasi umabot ng 6 months yung sa akin. So yung 186 visa mo is direct entry stream since wala ka pang 2 years sa employer? I will post updates here. By next week mag apply na kami ng visa.

Kung wala nnn problema s nomination app mo,i mean you are hundred percent sure n met ang criteria ng nomination app, why wait?,mas maganda mg lodge ng associated visa to save time,kc kung mg hintay k ma approve,then lodge visa app another waiting period.

Bridging visa dyn ma affect pg expires n ung 457 visa.

Hello. GoodMorning. For those who have recently lodged 186 ENS application. Nagsubmit pa po ba kayo ng NBI? Or Police clearance nlng po from here? May Valid NBI clearance ako before i moved here sa AU and got expired while Im here na. Do i still need an updated NBI?
