186 ENS Visa Timeline

I have a new NBI clearance. Umuwi kasi kami last December sa Pinas kaya kumuha na kami para isama sa application. I am not really sure kung kailangan mo pa since di ka naman yata lumabas ng Australia prior to application. Baka merong mas makapagbigay ng advice sa forum.

So I lodged our application yesterday and was automatically granted with Bridging Visa A along with the information below;

About your bridging visa

This bridging visa is not in effect because your Temporary Business Entry visa is currently in

effect.

Travel overseas

This bridging visa only allows you to remain in Australia. When you leave Australia, your

bridging visa will cease.

As you are a holder of valid Temporary Business Entry visa that allows you to leave and

return to Australia, the department recommends that you either:

	● apply for and be granted a Bridging visa B (which you can only do if you already hold a

	Bridging visa A or a Bridging visa B) before you travel or

	● contact your case officer as soon as you return to Australia

So tama po ba yung intindi ko na the Bridging visa is not yet in effect, it will kick in once my existing visa expires. However since it's in place na travelling overseas kahit di pa sya in effect will cancel the visa hence I would need to apply for BVB if we intend to travel outside Australia?

@aanover naunahan mo pa ako maglodge ng visa. May migration agent kami na kinuha. I will ask him about your question. Baka next week na kami makapaglodge. Good luck sa atin.

@Mandi usually 6 months ang processing. Baka malapit mo na matanggap ang visa approval mo.

@aanover just lodged our visa through a MA. regrading your question: "However since it's in place na travelling overseas kahit di pa sya in effect will cancel the visa hence I would need to apply for BVB if we intend to travel outside Australia?" = it also written in the notice of grant of a bridging visa that you can travel overseas using your current substantive visa (which is 457) before it expires.

@Mandi it usually takes 6 months from the date of lodging for ENS visa to be approved. Since you lodged October, you should have the decision any time soon (probably you have it now). Good luck.

@epiboy99 ngayon ko lang napansin. I think magkaiba po yung Bridging visa natin sir. Mine is No Travel. 🙁 I called Immigration and i will need to lodged Bridging Visa B if i intend to leave Australia while my application is being processed and a decision has not been made.

Nasa AUS napo ba kayo? im currently on student visa and my husband is my dependent. he already had an employer here in AUS. my question is do we need to have a bridging visa A or B because he plans to travel abroad or the student visa is ok which is valid till March 2018.

Hello po kababayan.

Balak ko po mag online lodgement for PR application. na complete ko na po ang 2 yrs working sa employer ko last June 22, 2016. Nag open ako sa ImmiAccount ko at open ako for new application then select ako application group then select ko Skilled Migration pero Not sure ako kung saan sa dalawang visa ang aaplyan ko under sa skilled migration 1. Employer Nomination for permanent appointment (186,187) 2. Permanent employer sponsored or nominated visa (186,187). Please need your help...

@Ramir #1 is for your employer. #2 is for you. #1 is a requirement for you to be able to lodge your application since they will need your Nomination Transaction Number.

@aanover Thank you for your reply. Bale ang employer po ba ang gagawa nomination at sila na mag send sa immigration? pasensya na po di ko talaga alam...salamat talaga.

@Ramir yes. Either they do it on their own or they hire a migration agent to do that, pero bottom line, that's for them to lodge kasi there will be specific business documentation that needs to be uploaded.

Hi aanover, salamat sa oras mo. kelangan ko uli kausapin company ko regarding with this. So bale po hindi pa ako maka online application unless maka submit na ang employer ko to nominate me. Ang immigration po ba mag advice sa akin na naglodge na employer ko or employer ko mag advice sa akin? Di po ba TRTS Temporary Residence Transition Stream ang ilodge ng employer ko not Direct Entry? kasi more than 2 years nako work sa kanila...

@Ramir once nalodge na ng employer mo yung nomination, they will get an email confirmation from immi and a TRN - Nomination Transaction Reference Number will be provided. Once you have this, you can now lodge your application bit. Yes you can qualify for the transition stream since you've been with them for two years na.
