Hi, im currently here in Ph and planning to return in brisbane this october to work, ask ko lang what do i need to do parama renew yung 186 ko. im migrating dependent last time im in Brisbane was march 2015 and nakalagay sa visa ko must not arrive on dec 4 2018. Salamat po!

Asking for a friend lang din regarding 186. Ang unang move ba dito eh from the applicant? or the employer. Unlike the 457 kasi, the employer first has to lodge a nomination to the state then once that's approved, pwede na magapply yung applicant ng 457. Same din po ba yun sa 186?

@dy3p Almost the same process. The employer must apply first for nomination approval. Once approved, pwede na mag apply ng 186 visa. Yung iba, sabay na nilolodge yung nomination and visa application or naglolodge na ng visa application while waiting for nomination approval.

@epiboy99 salamat boss! mukhang di alam nung company nila na ganon ang process. Parang they thought na maglelegwork muna yung employee tapos hihingian sila ng immi. Thanks ulit.

Kapag po ba may 482 ka na, pede ka sa either path ng direct stream or trt?

@aanover @esmejeff @epiboy99 mga sir, congrats to your visa approval! Sana matulungan nyo ako for some tips as I plan to lodge for ENS186 visa.

May employer ako who is willing to nominate me via DE. Pero may valid tourist visa po kame ng family ko kase we usually visit for business or tour. 1year multiple entry kase so until the time na maglodge kame for ENS186 valid pa ung tourist visa.

Ok lang po ba un maglodge kahit may existing valid tourist visa? But we will be out of AU by the time na maglodge kame for ENS186 nasa Pinas na kame nun.
At what point po kame need magpamedical or kumuha ng insurance?

Family PR visa po ung plan namin i-lodge.

As per the Senior Management assessment for Managing Directors, no need na daw mag take ng english exam for assesment lang cguro po yun. Pero require padin po english exam pagmag submit na kme ng PR 186 visa right? Confirm ko lang sana. Thank you po sa mga sasagot.

Yes it is okay. Wala naming problem. Once approved (your PR visa), it will replace your tourist visa (if still valid)

Based on my experience, I did the medical after I lodged the PR visa application. Sa insurance naman, once your PR is granted, you are eligible sa Medicare which you can apply once you and your family are here. Besides medicare, I have private health insurance with extras (for dental, optical, etc.) It is up to you if you want to have one but you must have a cover for ambulance. Merong mga forums dito na nagdidiscuss ng pros and cons of having private health insurance.

I did take the English exam (IElTS), pati yung wife ko nag IELTS din. I am not sure sa case mo kasi nasa Senior management ka. I applied under the university lecturer skill list.

Baka other members can comment. I applied May 2016, so baka may mga bagong process na for 186.

Hi I have a step uncle pero supero layo na ng degree who has a business in australia. They’re looking for an accountant tapos ako daw sana. Is he eligible to nominate me through this visa? Or may approved list of employers na naka set? Also, another worry is that I have no work experience related to accounting kasi I’ve been working as an accounts receivable manager which is wala sa SOL. Okay lng ba yun? I’m a CPA tho. May number of years ba for work experience na kailangan?

My wife and I are currently holding 457 visa and on going application for Permanent Residency, Under sponsorship ng company na pinapasukan ko. Nakapag submit na kami ng final documents as requested by case officer. Since then wala pa kami ulit natatangap na updates from my agent. Dapat na ba ko magpanic na baka di ma-approve yung PR application namin? Thank you

@Mr3D Kelan ka po nag-apply at kelan ang last CO contact? As of April 2019, 186 visa processing can take up to 13 months according to DoHA.

@cucci Last year pa kami nag-apply. March 2018. Last kami naconntact ng CO was April 9, 2019 thru my agent. Then sabi kayoangan daw irenew ng wife ko yung IELTS dahil expired na daw, dahil sa new rules di na daw pwede last IELTS. Then nagrenew yung wife ko ng IELTS. Ayaw ko naman maging over confident na dahil na-approve ako ng working visa ay ma-approve din kami ng PR

Hi, need some advice on how to do this. My employer is willing to sponsor my visa pero mahihirapan ako sa direct entry stream dahil kailangan pa ng assessment from Engineers Australia, sa Labour Agreement stream ba no need na ng assessment from Engineers Australia? Thank you

@Francisco0789 If your prospective employer has entered into <a href="https://immi.homeaffairs.gov.au/visas/employing-and-sponsoring-someone/sponsoring-workers/nominating-a-position/labour-agreements">labour agreement</a> with the Australian government. they you can use the pathway. As to the skills assessment, as stated below We might ask to get a skills assessment that shows you have the skills to work in the position. Do not get an assessment unless we ask you to.

@cucci Hi thanks for the reply.

As far as I know walang labour agreement yung employer ko but is willing naman to sponsor me and apply for one as per our conversation. I just thought na kaya ko asikasuhin yung Visa 189 on my own pero parang mahihirapan ako kumuha ng mga certificate of employments ko from my previous companies and if makakuha man ako eh generic lang ibibigay nila without the detailed job descreption and responsibilities. My only concern was if my employer enters in to a labour agreement then hingan ako ng assessment from Engineers Australia eh mahirapan din kami at mabalewala ang lahat 🙁

@Francisco0789 Sorry no idea as to the licensing body(ies) for engineers.

Whether you go for 189 or 186, I think the requirement to prove your experience and skills will always be there and prima facie proof of these is your employment certifications and other documents.

If you cannot get a detailed CoE from HR, there is the option to ask a former supervisor/colleague to furnish a statutory declaration/affidavit stating some facts that may not be available in the provided CoEs, like detailed job description, etc.
