TSS 482 VISA

Hi! Just wanted to ask lang po if pwede parin mag apply for TSS 482 kahit na wala sa PMSOL yung occupation ko pero nasa MLTSSL naman po? My company wants to sponsor me for TSS 482 (medium-term stream) po but because of restrictions last year, I've been working for an them through a third party po for 8 months na dito sa PH. Ngayong open na po yung borders, ang sabi po ni HR ay di daw po sila makapagproceed pa sa visa sponsorship kasi wala pa daw po sa PMSOL yung occupation ko. Just confused lng po kasi I'm assuming na pwede parin mag apply kahit wala sa PMSOL as long as nasa MLTSSL naman po. Pero mas prioritized lng yung nasa PMSOL. Appreciate po yung inputs niyo dito. Hi! Has anyone received a grant for 482 subsequent entrant recently? How long did it take?

Applied for my husband's visa and medicals were cleared almost a month ago but still no update. My visa (482) was granted just 2 days after I finished medicals

If you're concerned about immigration procedures and matters about travel wala namang difference. I think the bottom line would be your circumstances and things like finding a house to rent, concerns about schooling, if with school age kids...

No kids pa po, pero the agency advised po kasi na after 6 months nalang daw po i-apply ng subsequent entrant si dependent for the reason na para mapatunayan daw muna sa employer na mag pperform well ang 482 main applicant. :smiley: After searching many topics here, nakita ko po pwede naman pala sabay umalis pero naguluhan lang kami kasi po advised and mas gusto ni agency na hindi magsabay... hehe. What are your struggles po in finding a job there? :-) So agree din po kayo na not much of a difference whether sabay kami umalis or hindi? Lastly, need po ba sa subentrant visa ng 482 na employer din ni hubby ang mag ssponsor sakin or hindi naman? Thank you very much po!

Hello po. Mechanical Engineers po kami ni hubs. Ako po yung main applicant. Sa HVAC ako, siya naman sa kitchen equipment - yun din field namin from Pinas at SG. After 3wks po pagkadating dito nakahanap agad ng work si hubs. Naka 3 relevant jobs na rin siya sa loob ng 1yr, naghahanap ng mas malaking sahod at better opportunity 😅. Nung 2021 po madali maghanap ng work, may shortage talaga sa skills. Not sure po ngayong 2022 kasi marami nang migrants na dumating, mostly students. I think the agents would know better po. Hindi po ako sure sa sub entrant, usually kasi sa mga nakilala ko employer din ang nagsponsor.

Good day! My 482 was granted yesterday lang po..would like to ask those nakaka alis lang if nag-POEA po ba kayo or nag-cross country like via SG or Indonesia po?? I am weighing this thing po kasi baka ma-offload po kasi..TIA sa mga sasagot.

Hi po. Visa 482 holder din po ako, nagfly from SG where I worked previously. Not sure po kung gaano kaluwag ang immig sa pinas regarding tourists to SG or Indonesia. If you have enough time po, baka maconsider nyo na magcomplete na lang ng docs sa pinas. I think almost same price lang ang magagastos ng cross country (o baka mas mahal pa) compared sa direct flight+POEA. You will have to do it pa rin naman in case umuwi ng pinas.

Kakastart ko lang din mag asikaso ng POEA today kaya napatingin ako dito sa forum. Para sana docu ready in case magbalak umuwi.
