@vinpack - may mga months na mas mabilis ang processing nila.. example for me i got mine in approx 6 weeks.. mas mabilis pa sana un kaso ni-request nila to re-send a copy of one of my documents..

Thanks sir! Im seriously thinking of taking my chances that they can provide results within a shorter period. I just found out that visa 885 is still open for applications til the end of the year, di kasi nagbabasa mabuti e. If I manage to organize all requirements and submit to EA next week, that will be about 14weeks til end of the year. Photo finish ito if ever, ang i will need tons of good fortune to pull this off! Hahaha.

@vinpack wait.. checking your timeline.. u have ur visa 476.. and is scheduled to arrive to AU in Oct.. why do you need to apply for visa 885?

885 is a gsm pr visa for onshore holders of temporary visas 476 and 485. I have the impression that it would be so much easier to apply for this rather than submit an eoi for 189 or 190 and wait for an invitation. At least I can directly lodge for a visa rather than be subjected to eoi rankings. =) But i would need a lot of things to go for me to beat the deadline, not to mention scoring 8 across the board on the ielts exam. I will definitely need your level of ielts exam prowess sir, haha!

pero wala ka pa sa Au so technically hindi ka pa eligible for this?

or, you are doing things in advance, like skills assessment.. para pagdating mo dun sa oct... umaandar na ang lahat.. and ready for submission before Jan 1 2013..

Yes, im doing it in advance sir. Pagdating ko naman next month, eligible na ako to lodge an application for 885. If ever i get hold of the positive results of EA assessment by dec31, I can still qualify for this. Iwas eoi hehe..

@vinpack kaya yan!.. pag feeling mo malapit na lumabas ang result from EA.. mag fill-up kana ng application form for 885... para familiar kana sa form... or pwde nmn sguro i-save ang application kung online.. once lumabas ang result normally mag -eemail sila ng copy... pwede mo na agad i-attach un sa application mo and submit agad.. mga dec 31 2012 11:59pm.. habang nanood ng ny's countdown/firework sa sydney harbour bridge..heheh

hahaha! nagtry nga ako sir kagabi mag fill up ng application for 885. Ayos itong mga tips na ito, salamat!! sana nga ay umabot =) kahit photo finish at dec 31 ng 11:59pm! haha.

@lockcode: pwede ba akong makahingi ng CDR copy na for Project management/scheduler/planner? Mejo nahihirapan ako gumawa ng career episodes. Hindi naman kasi masyado ma technical kapag project management unlike designers. hehe. Need help po. sasabay ako kay vinpack sana magpasa.

hi, just want to inquire regarding EA assessment. I received the assessment letter from EA just today and they told me that 2 of my career episodes do not describe the work as a chemical engineer,They need at least one career episode which describes chemical engineering activities. I have 2 questions: 1. Is it ok to just provide 1 career episode (kasi al least 1 naman ang sabi)? 2. How can I provide this information, thru e-mail or mag-mail ulit sa engineers australia?... Your advise po will be greatly appreciated. Thank you very much. 🙂

@aijayann: please read the EA assessment guidelines carefully.. wala nmn po yata dun nakalagay na at least 1 career episode... as far as i know.. 3 career episodes po ang kailngan...

did they sent you an email or mail talga? if they contacted you through email, maybe you can ask them if you can just send the requested documents thru email.. if not, then mag-mail ka nga ulit..

during my assessment, the officer emailed me asking for another copy of my documents, and they requested it to be sent thru mail again...

just another point: please check the ANZSCO code of Chem Eng.. that will give you the job description of a Chem Engr... you should pattern your Career episode based on that...

hi @lock_code2004 . thank you for the immediate response. I already provided complete documents together with the 3 episodes kaya lang yun nga lng yung dalawang career episodes, hindi cguro pumasa sa standards nila. To share with you lang, ito po exact words na sinabi nya thru mail.

I have reviewed your Competency Demonstration Report application, and advise the following shortcoming in your submission:

Career Episodes #2 and #3 which you have presented do not describe your work as a Chemical Engineer. At least one additional Career Episode is required which describes chemical engineering activities. You may refer to the definition of Chemical Engineer (ANZCO 233111) on www.abs.gov.au.

Engineers Australi will be pleased to assess your qualifications when the above issue has been addressed.

Hindi na po need mag-pay another 20k+ for the response d ba? if ever need ko nalng iprovide need nila?

yup.. gawa na lang po ulit kayo ng 2 pa and then send thru mail.. put your assessment reference number n nasa receipt nyo para alam nila kung kaninong case officer pupunta..

no need to pay the assessment fee again.. they are just asking for additional documents..

yup, make sure na ung career episode mo has elements of the duties/responsibilities of a Chem Eng as defined in the ANZCO code...

ang pagkaintindi ko sa reply syo, "atleast one additional is required", so parang hinihingan ka pa ng isa pa.. pero para sure.. 2 na po ang gawin nyo..

Question naman po..ok lang po ba na scanned copy yung ipapanotarize na COE. At ok lang po ba na sa likod ng document nakalagay yung information at signature ng notary public. salamt po

magandang araw po..Ask ko lang if need ng show money kapag magaapply ng state sponsorship kasi parang may nabasa ako na financial stability na at least may 20k AuD?maraming salamat po
