yes. its true, if you will not avail the assessment for work experience, DIAC's CO will have no clue on which/how many years of work experience is relevant to your nominated occupation. It's either
they will ask you to avail for the assessment of work experience from EA again
or, they will decide based on their own knowledge (so far i have not seen this specially after July 2012, when they implemented the change on the work exp assessment for all assessing authority)
