Hi po sa lahat, bago lang ako dito sa forum. Tanong ko lang po sino po dito may sample ng CDR for chemical engineer? Thank you po sa tutulong.

Standard CDR lang kung walang planong magclaim ng points for experience (overseas)

Kung magkeclaim ng points for experience(overseas) for DIBP, then need ung RSEA. Thanks! Cheers

Hi, newbie lang po ako dito. And I wonder if you can help me with the assessment from Engineers Australia. I'm planning to go with the no-agency path kasi I will need the extra cash.

Ano po ba ang 1st step in getting the assessment for MechEng?

Hi @sic, first step talaga is IELTS kasi requirement na agad siya for assessment, u need to get atleast 6 on each band, while waiting for ielts exam/result, download mo ung MSA booklet sa EA Website, from there, makikita mo ung requirements, you can start na to gather supporting docs. Normally dun tau sa CDR.

Ah ayun ba yung sinasabi ni kuya @samjar22 . So I need to at least get a mark of 6 sa IELTS then prepare a CDR?

@sic need mo at least 6 on EACH band. If u get at least 7 on EACH band, additonal points un for u on visa application. Pwede ka na din actually magprepare na ng CDR, pero hindi ka kasi makakapagsubmit ng application for CDR assessment hangga't walang IELTS. Pwedeng simultaneous ung preparation mo. If waiting/preparing ka for ielts, pwede ka na din magprepare ng CDR, para pag ok na ielts mo, submit na agad ng assessment.

Hi po, ask ko lang, may naka experience na po dito na tinawagan yung current employer nila? Ako po kasi mag ddraft ng COE ko tapos hindi ko na sana ipapaalam dito, kasi super strict talaga pag kumuha ka.....

One more thing, any advice po sa pag take ng IELTS??

and nawawalan po ba ng slot ang mga Electrical Engineers??

@alegnallanes EA usually hindi tumatawag sa employer, pero pagdating sa DIBP, malaki ang chance na tumawag sila kaya wala ka pa ring lusot..

Sa IELTS naman, share ko lang na malaki ang tulong na I took IELTS while making my CDR kasi nahasa yung writing ko. hehe.. self study lang at practice kasi available nman online ang mga study materials.

@kuya.king not necessarily. Ako nagclaim ako ng work experience pero di ako nag RSEA. Kung sure ka na related yung experience, ok lang di mag RSEA pero pag nagclaim na sa DIBP provide ng evidences Pa rin. Kung mejo may doubt ka kung related yung experience mo, better mag RSEA para may back up ka pagnagclaim ka na sa DIBP.

IELTS advice: aim for 7 and above in all exams to get an additional 10 points and focus more on writing.

Question about the difference between CDR only and CDR+RSEA:

Halimbawa graduate ka ng Chemical Engineering

5 years exp as Chemical Engineer
5 years exp as Plant Manager(Chemical related)
5 years exp as Environmental Engr(non-chem related)

Lets say ang nominated occupation mo ay Chemical Engineer.

Anong difference ng assessment mo if CDR lang compared sa CDR+RSEA?

@kuya.king Ako nag cdr+rsea. Sa career episode ko yung 2 companies lang ang ginamit ko pero all the three companies na napagtrabahuan ko ay kinonsider ng EA kasi sa CV ko at COE nakasulat ang job description, so dun nila ibabase kung related ang work experience mo sa occupation na pinapaasses mo. :-)

@wanderer Ibig po ba sabihin hindi naman necessary na lahat ng experience mo sa mga company na napagworkan mo ay kelangan gawan ng individual cdr para maconsider sa yrs of exp mo? Nagwork po kasi ako sa 3 companies, pero sa 2 companies lang ung cdr ko. Quite worried my current job won't be considered. Related pa din naman po sa engineering pero more of tendering unlike my 2 previous jobs na design.

@honeyB based from my experience tama ka po sa sinabi mo. Pero bka ibig mo sabihin ay career episode hindi cdr, kasi ang cdr ay yung whole package na isusubmit sa EA :-) Dont worry magiging positive yan basta kumpleto job description mo sa cv at coe :-) And of course kung nag avail ka ng relevant skilled employment assessment, dapat may evidences ka to support paid employment. Kung meron ka lahat nyan, seat back and relax ka lang 😉

About sa CDR, may nagawa akong career episode na 2700 words total.

nakalagay sa msa is 2500 words maximum lang.

dapat ko bang bawasan? na go thru ko na mahirap bawasan. any suggestion po? salamat
