@Krisian hello po, hindi ka ba sinabihan ni EA na magpasa ng bagong CE to justify your claim na Telco Network Engineer? Yung friend ko kasi, binigyan ng choice, he can pass 2 new CEs to support his claim (Telco Engineer) or continue with what EA's assessment which is Engineering Tech. Plan mo bang inominate ang 263312 with EA's assessment na Eng'g Tech or magpapareassess ka?

If you don't mind, ano bang breakdown ng points mo? Baka mas madaling magpasuperior ka nalang ng english kesa ipush ung plan mo. 🙂

@jazmyne18 thank you po. Katatapos ko lang po kahapon sa lahat after 3 revisions hahaha. Bale hinihintay ko nalang po talaga IELTS results para makapagpaassess sa EA.

@jazmyne18 , di sila humingi sakin ng bagong CE, they just advised me na since I am not a licensed ECE i can only be assessed as engr tech, they didnt give me an option, they just asked me if i was willing to proceed with the assessment. During those times, i was not aware na super tough ng competition for engr tech. I was thinking then na, kahit assessed ako as engineering tech, i still can nominate ung telco tech kahit di na yung telco network engr, pero mukang di pala pede. Noong July pa po dumating assessment ko.

i will be having 60pts exact by november. Age:30, experience:15, degree:15. I took pte twice to get a superior, kaya lang lagi ako sablay sa speaking. I am looking for other option kasi pasok naman sa competent yung speaking ko, nakaka-frustrate kasi yung pte. hehehe

Ask ko lang, aware ka ba kung pede ko inominate yung 263312 sa EOI even though engrng tech yung assessed sakin? Or mas ok magpa-reassess nalang ako.

@Krisian proficient ba ung english mo? Kasi if proficient naman, may 70 points ka na. 🙂

Try mo rin IELTS baka mas okay sayo un. Sabi nila mas madali ang PTE pero I'm not sure if may remarking sila (di pa ako nakakabasa rito), sa IELTS kasi meron.

IMO, better pareassess ka nalang kesa ipilit ung 263312 kasi mas sayang ung ibabayad mo for visa kung marereject lang dahil iba ung assessment ng EA sinubmit mo.

@jazmyne18, competent lang speaking ko.. may i ask lang baka lang aware ka, yung re-assessment ba is yung informal review? or i have to submit new cdr? Thank you po sa reply mo.. 😉

@Krisian hmm, maybe pwede kang magtry ulit? Road to proficient. Hehe. I'm not sure kung anong kailangan sa reassessment, eh.

Ngayon ko lang narealize, parang lang ako nakabasa ng case mo. Afaik, hindi naman required na licensed engineer. Baka may idea rin yung iba.

@jazmyne18, thank you so much sa help. yes, i am planning to take another pte and aim the highest points. Frustrating lang kasi pte, hahaha, kaya i am exploring other options. 🙂

@Krisian Good eve sir sisingit lang ako sa conversation nyo. Nagpa assess din ako sa EA and I got my results last September 6. Fresh grad lang ako. Graduated this June from UST and BS ECE din ako. Nag pa assess ako using my school projects for career episodes and walang hiningi saken na kahit ano (license, certificates, etc). The only email I received was the outcome na positive assessment. IMO malaking factor kung saan galing ang bachelor's degree kasi meron din nagpost dito a few months back na muntik na rin ilagay sa engg technologist, pero nagsend sya ng appeal letter na iconsider work exp kahit di sya licensed. In the end na assess sya sa desired occupation nya.

Aabot naman pala kayo sa 60 sir ng wala pang points sa english. Try taking PTE sir. makakuha ka lang ng 70 ma iinvite ka na agad. Wag nyo na po itry magpa assess uli sa EA since gagastos uli kayo ng malaki, at ang end goal nyo naman is mainvite as soon as possible right? Better take PTE nalang to improve your points kasi it's cheaper and results come out the next day, than going through the trouble of passing another CDR pero dun ka lang mapupunta sa occupation na medyo mas konti ang applicants kumpara sa engg tech. bottom line is 60 pa rin kayo sir kahit malipat kayo, whereas taking PTE for extra points is a lot less troublesome and cheaper.

@Krisian Hi! I took IELTS twice but still ended being competent. But when I tried PTE for the first time, even without practice, I was able to attain Proficient level. To me mas okay yung PTE cuz it's unbiased and response is lightning fast. 🙂

Tsaka mas madali nga ba PTE compare to IELTS.

@KlarkShark Sorry di ko alam sagot sa unang question mo..Pero about sa PTE vs IELTS, para sa akin, mas ok ang pte. Mas mahirap ung mechanics kasi time pressured at maraming activities going on sa pte, pero in terms of score, mas generous ang pte. I got OBS band 7 sa ielts (with 6 weeks study), pero sa pte, I got 86-90 pts (10 days study). Lahat ng tips sa pte nakuha ko lang dito sa forum (under PTE discussion). Saka sa pte, 1 day lang may result na unlike sa ielts na 2 weeks waiting time hehe.

@KlarkShark by course ba sir you mean a bachelor's degree? IMO not as easy ang PTE as you migh think, it's just that getting high scores is more achievable

@ramon_tubero pwede din pics sir, I just used pics na naka attach sa mga documents ng projects ko back in college as proof. Kunwari assembly ng antenna, PCB, etc.

good day everyone, ask ko lang sana if enough n ung working permit or resident permit dun sa secondary documents na isusubmit meron din akong contract document kaso hndi sya galing sa ministry of labor, between the company and me lang ung contract, dito kasi ako sa japan nagwowork, contractual lang ako dito and yung company ko ay medyo ilag sa mga taxes kaya wala din kaming benefits at di ko alam kung nagbabayad sila ng tax so baka wala ding ITR, ang meron lang akong proof is the contract itself and also pwede naman akong humingi sa kanila ng COE. ano pong maadvice nyo?
