@sherwinm Salamat sa reply. Ang hirap kasi gawan ng career episode kapag Professional Engineer kapag Electrical Engineering Draftsperson ang nominated occupation. Baka Engineering Associate na lang yung gawan ko kaso baka kasi hindi irecognized ng EA yung Bachelors' Degree ko at mashort sa pagclaim ng points.

@beetle00 yes! oo nga eh. buti ka pa makakapag EOI na after outcome. need ko pa makasuperior lol. sana potive yung results nung EA assessment

@nicnac based sa sig mo, same lang tayo ng points pag nag EOI ako 🙂 sa birthday ko pa ako mag 70 points hehe

@amber try to have your skills assessed by either AIQS, EA or VETASSESS. Usually it would be AIQS or EA. prior to choosing which, try to have a look at the list of schools in this website

Kung yung school mo under Section 1, Malaki chance na successful ang assessment mo. If not, it would be best sa EA ka na lang pa-assess.

Hello! Kaka join ko lang sa forumn kanina. Na-ooverwhelm ako sa mga nabasa ko dito. Bago kasi kami nag decide mag apply, parang ang simple lang ng steps now parang bigla akong naguluhan. Tanong ko lang po, bago kayo mag lodge ng visa, dapat po ba magpa assess na agad sa assigned engineering authority? Hinde pa din nakakapag take ng ielts/pte. Salamat!

May nakapag request na ba dito ng ITR mula sa BIR-RDO? Naitapon na kasi ng husband ko ang ITRs niya issued by his old company tapos ang COE niya though detailed eh walang nakalagay na salary. Nagsara na kasi totally ang company niya sa Pilipinas noong 2010 and worldwide naman early last year ata. SG- based kami and ang hirap makatawag sa BIR, kung saan saan ako kinoconnect, pero ending wala din akong nakakausap na maayos from them.

@MrsBart it's always the case. It looks straightforward at first until you realise, it's actually not at all. Especially these days when the process is very fickle. Lodging the visa application is the last step before you even get there hard work muna. First is take the English test then have your skills assessed. All the best!

@RheaMARN1171933 thanks! Si husband ang main applicant. Currently nag se self review siya for IELTS and minention ko na nabasa ko dito about PTE. Better ba na shift na lang siya sa PTE?

@MrsBart PTE vs IELTS, that's very individual. Their difference is the delivery. PTE is more computer/technical set up whilst IELTS is classroom type so it all depends on where the information individual is mist comfortable in. I've done IELTS over 10 years ago during my migration journey but can't speak much about PTE other than what my clients both from the UK and Philippines have been experienced. Overall, and find that more get higher score than IELTS. I do have some clients who score higher in IELTS than PTE. It's tricky to recommend one over the other.

@RheaMARN1171933 yun din sabi ng husband ko. The exams have different formats. Reason why I am encouraging him the PTE is the scores as they say are more forgiving hence easier to get competent or superior scores. So maybe I’ll let hime decide kung saan ba siya mas comfortable.

Need help sana. Para doon sa mga recently nakapag pasa na ng skills assessment sa EA, ask ko lang if yung documents like CDR, Professional Summary, Resume and cpd e need to scan pa or convert nalang to pdf file? Sensya na medyo naniguro lang din. Thanks in advance. 🙂
