Hi. Sana po may maka reply sa query ko. May bro is planning to apply for EA as Engineering Technologist pero I'm not sure if pwede ba? He is a licensed Electronics and Communications Engineer pero yung work niya is as an engineer sa isang ship building company assigned in painting department. So completely not related po talaga ang education niya and employment. Is he qualified to apply as Engineering Technologist?

Ok na sir @VirGlySyl at @gibo43 . Di ko pala naiapply ang RSEA kaya educ lang ang nireply. Pero inapply ko na ung RSEA kaya baka by next week isend na ung outcome. Thanks sa reply mga sir!

@butterfly Have you read/review the MSA Booklet? Kasi dapat ung job description ni brother mo at ung naka indicate sa Engineering Technologist ay pareho. Kung hindi, baka mag alanganin ang assessment mo. Or better try niyong magrequest ng job description ni bro mo then check niyo MSA kung meron or close sa experience niya.

Dito po ba ilalagay yung payslip? (Paano ito didiskartehan kung more than 120 pages ito)

bank statement of account records? 60 pages po ito

bir 2307 - 11 pages

provident fund contribution - 2 pages

sss contribution? - 2 pages

Considering na malaki ang files ni payslip and bank statement sakop po ba statement na "Files should not be larger than 5MB with a maximum file size allowed of 10MB"

@tigerlance payslip is not needed kung sa EA lang, sa Visa lodging sya hinahanap hanap.

and tips, one upload at a time lang then save.

hello po sa lahat,.. may naka-experience din po ba dito na nahihirapan sa pag upload ng documents sa Engineers Australia ? laging nag 504 error po kase or yong AJA HTTP request terminated, though less than 5mb namn yong files naka 300dpi pa

Hi! I'm about to lodge my application to EA in the next couple of days but I'm still confused on the differences of SCDR and CDR + RSEA. I graduated ECE but I am employed in an Oil Refinery with more than 7 years of experience of Instrumentation and Control System with the same company (and this is also my first job too). I based my career episodes from the experiences I gained when I was an Instrument Engineer and as an Instrument Maintenance Supervisor. I am applying for a production or plant engineer (233513).

With this, may I know which of the two, SCDR or CDR + RSEA, should I choose for assessment and why? Thank you and appreciate your inputs!

Hi Don, if your job description or functions on ICS as an Instrument E. and as an Instrument MTSV satisfies the 233513 description, kahit Standard CDR na lang. Just provide a reference letter or COE w/ JD that matches the 233513 role, credited yan. In my case nag RSEA lang ako sa hindi ko ginawan ng CDR na gusto kong ma-claim.

At hintayin na lang din natin yung response ng iba with the same case as yours, (for peace-of-mind)

Hi, need help po. I just got a feedback from EA regarding my assessment. They offered me 2 options, magsubmit ako ng CE na for Electrical Engr to be assessed as Professional Engineer (Since EE ang course ko) which, as per my understanding, mawawala yung claim ko na 4 years work experience or irevise/submit ako ng CE as Engineering Technologist. Ano pong best approach for this? Nagpaassess kasi ako as Electronics Engineer dahil yun ung work experience ko.

And may effect po ba to kapag naghanap na ng work sa AU (kung palarin)?

wala naman daw, ang mahalaga daw ay makapunta sa Au na may working visa. Hindi nga sila familiar sa mga type of Visas dun.

"If you take this option, you will need to revise or submit 2 new career episodes that show how you demonstrated competency at an Engineering Technologist level" << Eto po yung pinapasubmit sa akin ni EA, meron po ba ditong Engg Tech na naapprove ni EA? Di ko kasi sure ano specific hiningi nya para mag-align as Engg Tech yung Career Episode ko. Ang idea ko kasi is irevise na lang yung CDR. Thanks!

And one more question po, if ever magpaassess ako as Engg Tech, may effect po ba to sa points? May bawas po ba? Thanks!
