@and95970 Oo nga po sir, fast track pero inabot ako more than 2 months.. I guess naoverlook nila nung nagsubmit ako ng additional documents nung September. Buti may nagsuggest din sakin na tawagan ko na chaka lang umusad at nagkaresult. 🙂 EE Sir pinaassess ko as suggested ng iba kasi malaki daw backlog ng Engg Tech.. 🙂

Here are your options:

It is a requirement in The Philippines that working as Professional Engineer require PRC. As you don't have PRC, you will be issued ET outcome WITH working experience. or,
Considering your CPD, you will be issued Professional Engineer as Telecommunications Engineer but WITHOUT working experience.

Should I choose ba option 1? If option 2, does it mean na di ako pede mag-claim ng points sa working experience? Ask lang if meron dito same experience as mine?

@Krisian i suggest choose the option with the higher possible pts. 8 yrs is a lot to be uncounted. Kahit engg tech na pro rata pero mataas ang score, it's possible na mainvjte. Btw section 2 or 3 po ba school nyo? Might be a reason why they are asking for prc.

hello po, may ongoing skills assessment with relevant experience (Civil Engineer) ako with EA and just received a reply from CO requesting for additional information - PRC license. unfortunately, wala akong license sa pinas. meron bang may similar situation? pwede kayang ibang occupation yung paassess like Civil Engineering Draftperson or Technician? thank you

@datch29 yung sa akin inattached ko yung scan copies ng valid PRC license ID, board certificate test result and certificate from PRC (English/Tagalog).

Hi @datch29 i think it is better to attach the colored scanned copy of your certificate from PRC since it is printed on security paper with serial number and PRC seal.

Need ko pala mag renew ng prc id license, matagal nang expired yung saken, since 2013 pa.

Currently ang meron lang ako is yung certificate test result and expired license.

Actually related ung 8yrs experience ko sa telecommunications engineer na pina-assess ko. Accdng sa conversation namin ni EA, yung work experience ko and CPD actually basis nila kaya kahit wala ako PRC document pede ako ma-tag as Professional Teleco Engineer. However, sabi nya based on The Philippines government requirement (w/c is not clear para sakin kasi may mga friends ako na kahit wala PRC nacredit ni EA ung work experience nila) and Engineers Australia assessment guideline, I cannot give you both Professional Engineer AND Working experience.

I am thinking na baka iba yung basis when it comes to EOI, nabasa ko kasi sa EOI, points will be awarded if client have relevant skilled or closely related employment experience in their nominated occupation. Kaya medyo confident ako kasi ung 8yrs experience ko is from 1 company lang and yun ung basis ni EA kaya considered ako as PE. I am thinking lang na di ma-consider ung working experience ko sa EA kasi they need to follow yung guidelines nila.

I am actually thinking na din to consult s agency regarding my case. Naghahanap palang ako agency na pede mpagtanungan.

Agreed. There's a 15-point difference between the two choices. @Krisian since our info are limited, it just appears to us that the EngTech route is more feasible. Unless, you are already high-pointer with zero experience as TelEng - you can choose any. Last time I checked, EngTech cut-off is 75 points, TelEng cut-off is 70 points.

Please note that Engineers Australia is an organisation independent from the Department of Immigration and Border Protection (DIBP). It is not EA’s place to give you any advice on immigration processes, visa eligibility or immigration requirements. The attribution of points remains at the discretion of the DIBP officers.

I am thinking actually to pursue yung option 2, then claim points pa din sa work experience ko thru EOI. Ask lang, to claim points ba sa EOI needed ba ng RSEA from EA? Last year kasi may nakikita ako na di na nagpa-asssess ng working experience sa EA.
