Ask lang po ako if meron po kayong sample CDR for Ece. Transport Network Engineer po ako (planning and design, configuration and project management) po hawak ko ngayon. Thank you po 🙂

Hello po sa lahat!

Registered ECE po ako sa pinas but in shipbuilding experience specifically in Painting department designated as Field Engineer (malayong-malayo sa profession). I plan to apply for Industrial or Production Engineer in EA (since it has the closest in description to my experience). Tama po ba ginagawa ko na ibase ang CDR writing and Summary Statement sa Industrial Engineer or Production Engineer and not as an ECE?

Anybody who applied for TSS 482 here? Skills assessment from EA is not mandatory for TSS 482 but do I need any other license po ba to apply for this visa? or PRC lang po ba? Any other licensing authority that I need to apply for this visa? Salamat po!

So I'm an Agricultural Engineer (ANZSCO 233912)

Description

Performs and supervises engineering work related to the use and development of agricultural land, buildings, machines and equipment. Registration or licensing may be required.

If I can provide job description that can relate into here then can I file for an EA assessment as an Engineering Technologist/ Agricultural Engineer? (Because of total Education in years = 15 years)

Is that how it works po? Can we specify the type of engineering profession we are specialized in the EA Assessment?

Also, I read somewhere that some engineering professions have quota or have reached ceiling applications, is that right?

I visited the DHA Log for and saw that there are <5 granted visas for Agricultural Engineers, does that mean well? Does it mean that I have less competition and can go through with low points? As of now I have 80 points on the Assessment (I used ANZSCO immigration tool) here: https://www.acacia-au.com/skilled-migration-points-test.php (I will only have 80 points though if I can score 8.0 in my IELTS exam, which I haven taken yet).

Ako kapatid, pumunta ako ng Melbourne para mag bakasyon ng isang linggo noong 2018 at di na ako umuwi. Nag studyante ako, nakahanap ako ng employer after 5 months dito, ngayon processing na kami ng work visa. Wala akong EA. Mahirap mag hanap kung wala kacdito, mas okay onshore. Swerte2 lang talaga.

imo, yung EA skills assessment na pinaguusapan dito sa thread is for visa/migration purposes and is different from getting an accreditation from EA to be able to practice your engineering profession sa AU.

In relation to jobs, generally with EA accreditation or none, kapag off-shore ka mahirap maka hanap ng work. kahit yung mga PR na hirap minsan kahit on-shore eh. Kahit na subukan mo rumekta sa mga companies hindi sila basta basta maghhire off-shore.

I remember way back 2012 nung nagaaply ako ng work abroad through agencies, minsan may susulpot na hiring para sa AU. Pero bihira mangyari to. Sobrang swerte kapag isa ka sa napili.

That’s very true. Same experience my husband had when we were planning to go back to Sydney from the UK (plans didn’t push through as we’re still in the UK hehe). Given his background - degree and post grad from Germany, years of work experience in Australia, Germany and the UK, he had interviews via Skype but they still prefer to finalise things once he’s back in Australia, to think he’s already got local experience na. Even recruiters say the same. Much easier when you’re there na.

Re EA accreditation I believe some states have recently required this for migrants.

So advisable po ba magstudent visa then sa Au na lang maghanap ng employer? Thanks po.

Depende po yan sa mga options mo, wala po kasi akong plano mag stay dito dati magbabakasyon lang talaga sana ako pero nagustuhan ko dito kaya di na ako umuwi at ang option ko lang ay ang mag student para makapag stay. Check mo na lang po kung anong available options para sayo.
