@chu_se goodluck sa results ng ielts mo! tiyagaan lang talaga yung pagsusulat ng CDR, sinisingit ko habang nasa office.. pag-uwi sa bahay nagsusulat din hehe

Hi, wala naman ako specific news about sa changes na i-implement ng DIAC. But for sure magbabago ang mga cielings. May mga proffesions din na dagdag at alisin.

Good day po! Meron lang akong mga katanungan tungkol sa Skills Assessment, sana matulungan nyo akong maliwanagan dito:

Original ba or certified true copy (notary public) ng employer reference letter ang ipapasa? Ayoko kasi ibigay ang original at nag-iisa lang yun e. Pwede kayang certified true copy (notary public) din ba yung Certificate of Employment? Ayoko din sana ibigay ang orig document.

Sa Continuing Professional Development, pwede mag-submit ng mga lumang training certificates, kahit mga 15 yrs na nakakalipas? Pwede kaya submit yung PRC license kahit expired na? Or pwde kaya yung score ko na lang sa board exams?

yes CTC ang isusubmit
pwde khit lumang certificate
hindi nmn strict reqt ito, pero yung PRC license kung nasa pinas ka, kailangan valid kasi sympre pano ka nagprapractice ng profession mo kung expired na ang prc license (yan ang point of view ng EA), kung nasa ibang bansa ka, okay lang na expired..

Hi @lock_code2004, maybe you can provide some insight on this...

Regarding the Summary Statement, is it safe to use the summaries listed in the Appendix (Detailed Description of Competency Elements) on page 33 of the Migration Skills Assessment booklet? Is this the usual practice?

On page 17 of the booklet, it mentioned "Applicants <b>may</b> prepare their own summary table, but must include the complete set of competency elements for their nominated engineering category."

Could this mean that the applicant may also use the summaries listed in the booklet?

@emonsanto - If I may give a suggestion. You can ask for examples of CDR (Career Episodes and Summary) from forumers who were successful in thier assessment. Specially from forumers who has the same or similar job as yours.

I worked as a <b>Telecommunications Engineer</b> locally and abroad, so if anyone here who's also in the same field and who'd be kind enough to share a copy of his/her Summary Statement, I'd really appreciate it a whole lot. 🙂 Don't worry I won't copy it verbatim, it's just something to give me an idea. Thanks in advance.

For the meantime, I'll try to search the forum if a similar request has been posted already.

Sabi po ng Engineers Australia they sent my results for MSA last January 17, 2014. Hindi pa po demarcating at sa Manila lang po ang delivery address. Gaano po katagal ang delivery from EA to Pinas? Thank you.

Yes, you must! Or you will not get assessed for work experience points for EOI.

Oopps, I read in the booklet that overseas applicants are not required to pay the 10% GST. That means the Qualifications assessment will cost AU$620 (not 682), while Skilled assessment will cost AU$150 (not 165). 🙂

Kung ang qualification ko po ay accredited and recognized ng Australia kelangan ko po ba ng CDR or puede na po ako either Washington accord or Sydney accord
