When I submitted my CDR, all I got is a letter stating my qualifications are similar to that of a Civil Engineer, Professional Engineer Skill Level 1.

I did not pay EA to get my experienced assessed , during my assessment my CO awarded me with max. points for experience...

If you are not sure whether your experience is similar to your nominated occcupation (job description) then pa assess po kayo sa EA to ensure you get awarded with the points.

@FlightOZ so you mean pwedi po makakuha ng 15 points from CDR assessment? Kasi po ung case ko is

32 yrs old-30 or 25 pag naging 33 yrs

Experienced 8 yrs - 15

Ielts assumed -0

EA assessment- 10 or 15

Partner- 5

Para makapag visa 189 ako,

Tama po ba?

@lock_code2004 thanks, additional question sir, kailangan pa bang mag pa assess ng partner ko sa EA to earn the 5 points? She's also an engineer. Then I got a PRC license, do you think i can get 15 points from it sa EA assessment?

@phrism , hi. If you need additional 5pts, yes makakadagdag ng 5pts ung assessment ng partner mo sa EA. About sa 15pts from EA, if they recognize your educ qualification as a professional engineer, 15pts yun.

Question po to those based in Sg who got a positive assessment:

ilan days ang normal courier from oz to sg?
Worth it ba mag arrange ng special courier?

Kinocompare ko kasi ung difference sa days kung kelangan ko pa mag special courier o nde na.

@emosanto, yun talaga ang gagamitin mo boss tsip pero yung second column (a brief summary of how you applied the competency elements) dapat in your own words wag mong kokopyahin verbatim yun.kinopya ko yun kaya pina-send sa akin ang revised SS ko.ang ginawa ko, yun pa rin pero paraphrased na.ayun binigay naman agad ang result the same day na binigay ko ang revised SS

Regarding the Summary Statement, is it safe to use the summaries listed in the Appendix (Detailed Description of Competency Elements) on page 33 of the Migration Skills Assessment booklet? Is this the usual practice?

On page 17 of the booklet, it mentioned "Applicants may prepare their own summary table, but must include the complete set of competency elements for their nominated engineering category."

Could this mean that the applicant may also use the summaries listed in the booklet?</blockquote>

i have a question. I received a positive feedback from EA kaso yung hardcopy di ko pa rin natatanggap. May sinend lang sa akin na soft copy pero parang may water mark na not for submission to immigration. I guess it means I can't send it for EOI, right?

@piglet24 you dont need the hard copy for eoi.. You only need the reference number from EA... So pwde kna mag submit ng eoi..

You only need hardcopy pag naninvite kana to apply for visa..

SA WAKAS. Nakapag bayad at nakapag submit na din kme sa agency nung Saturday ng para sa EA assessment. Eto na. Antayan na. Hindi ko alam kung excited or takot ako kasi naman ang tagal namin na delay, step one pa lang. Pero finally, today daw isasubmit ng agency ang aming documents to EA. Yay!!

@wednesday: nung August 2013 po ako nagsubmit sa EA. January ko na nakuha result kasi saktong naka Christmas break sila nung nag 16 weeks yung submission ko. 🙂 Good luck!
