I nominated my bachelors first (electronics engg) and proceeded to make my CDR based on my experience (production/plant engr). I made sure to mention skills and knowledge that I gained from my bachelors and related them to my occupation.
I cannot say which is better -- nominate occupation that is different from your degree outright, or do what I did which was wait for the CO to assess my CDRs and tell me that I am more suited for something else. Up to you. If closely related naman yung course mo, I think you can nominate materials engg. Basta dapat gandahan mo ang CDR. You can search this forum or other sites for similar cases. That's what I did.

My husband is a civil engineer. His experiences are related to safety. I want him to be assessed as civil engineer.

This means his CDR must contain reports from college.

It has been 7 years since he finished college.

Will he still have a positive skills assessment?

Meron po ba dito na Engineer tapos ang experience ay sa manufacturing/production? Mag papatulong lang po sana ako sa pag gawa ng CDR. Nahihirapan lang po ako kase hindi project based ang experience ko. Thank you.

Good Day Engineers! ask ko lng po yung may experience sa case ko, 3 years 8months po ako job order sa government office pero yung assessment po nacredit 1 year lang since yun lang ang may itr ako since nagexceed sa threshold na taxable income, the rest nung years di nag exceed ung threshold ng income kaya di nacredit yung years, sa eoi ko po ilalagay ko po ba yung actual na 3years 8months na work experience ko or yung 1 year lang na assess ni EA?

• Track/Assign schedule to Cadd operation

• Validate RFI from BIM and Site Condition

• Validate and lead clash analysis reporting to be presented in BIM work session

• Monitor and updates the Submittal Registry according to Project Execution Schedule.

• Review and ensure all shop drawings are based on updated plans, issued CBs or AIs

and properly coordinated with multi-disciplines prior to consultants' approval

• Monitors shop drawings preparation (whether in-house or outsourced) according to

Submittal Registry and Project Execution Schedule

• Monitors and coordinates with A/E of record on approval of submittals which include

request for information (RFI) and request for approval (RFA)

• Collects redlined IFC/drawings from COG prior to as-built preparation (LOD 500)

• Calibrate model based on recent developments within the project, includes but not

limited to design update and/or as per actual site condition

• Train and orient incoming additional staff of the project with technical skills of BIM and

project overview

• Perform tasks in accordance with the processes defined in the company’s QEHSMS

After almost 4 months of waiting for the outcome.

Received it today and credited 12 years out of 17 years of experience as a PE Mechanical Engineer.

The 5 years deduction is because of lack of secondary document especially the current off-shore employment I am employed.

Still, it is a happy day and I can progress with the visa lodging now.

Timeline are as follows:

June 23, 2023 - MSA + CDR + RSEA + FAST TRACK Lodge

July 20, 2023 - Assessor asked for additional supporting documents

August 8, 2023 - Submitted supporting documents

October 13, 2023 - Positive Outcome granted

Hi po question lang.

Meron na po akong positive outcome sa EA and rsea po. Pano po mag claim ng 1 year onshore experience this coming january next year. Btw nakapag lodge na rin po ng EOI.

Pano po gagawin? Need pa po ba ulit magpa rsea next year?

Hello po uli. Magtatanong lang po paano mag-apply ng relevant skilled employment assessment na hiwalay from the general migration skills assessment? Meron na po kasi akong outcome way back 2018 and advice naman ng EA na isabay ko na lang yung renewal nito if magsasubmit naman ako ng RSE assessment pero hindi lang po clear kung paano yung proseso. Collecting and compiling required documents:

Reference Letters based sa MSA, ako na gumawa ng template para piprint nalang ng HR at isasign (4 ang work experience ko at may isa akong work, na nag-awol ako pero may contract, coe, payslips at 2316 ako, kaya sinama ko pa din, na-award naman)

BIR 2316 every year

Payslips (3months per work)

SSS, Philhealth and Pagibig (Online lahat to) Generate lang sa website save as "PDF"

CDR Preprations

Career Episodes are based on my work experience. No certain format, essay type ang ginawa ko. Read carefully the MSA Booklet andyan naman lahat.

Summary - just answer the template provided in the MSA

CPD - Table type 1 a4 size only, wala ako masyado seminars or training after graduation. We have 2 businesses na ako ang nagmamanage, nilagay ko din since nagagamit ko dito yung course ko.

PTE - Youtube lang then mock exam, subscribed in APEUNI App.
Yan lang po! SALAMAT PO AT GRADUATE NA AKO DITO SA EA.
NEXT:

Hi, makikisuyo po sana ako, pwede nyo po kaya i-share kahit isa sa reference letter nyo? Pa-cover lng po ng mga details except sa job title and 5 main specific duties undertaken.

Meron ako reference letter from my current employer, pero walang 5 main specific duties undertaken. Gusto ko lng po sana i-compare kung ano itsura.

Humihingi po sila ng below documents (1₃) with regards sa current employer ko dito Au. Pero wala pa po ako ng income tax & superannuation insurance kasi kakastart ko pa lang po ng work last July. Pano po kaya ang pwede ko isagot kay EA?

Hello. Employed rin ako starting July pero achievable naman lahat ng hinahanap sa yong secondary doc or may alternative na pwede.

1. ATO Tax Return Summary - Di kaya pwede na isend mo muna yung Income Statement mo sa ATO account mo since di ka pa nakabuo ng 1 financial year?

2 and 3 Superannuation. Chineck ko yung account ko ng superannuation. And may nakita akong mga statements. Have you checked your account sa super? Lahat ng correspondence andun.

Pero yan din naisip namin na ibigay na lang (kasi for my husband ang hiningi ni EA ay ATO income statement and ATO Super contribution) pero may nakalagay kasi na ganito below

We decided na magquery muna kay EA to explain na wala pa ako ng Ato Tax Return (kasi wala pa 1 yr), Super Insurance (kasi wala pa 6kAUD laman ng super) and Super Annual Statement (Kasi wala pa din 1 yr)

One can get positive skills assessment without claiming work experience.. if cv contains 7 years, it doesn’t really matter if he’s not doing skilled work assessment.

I think just proceed ung option 3. at least wala ka na ipprovide pang details. not sure with your goal. but if its just to get a positive feedback from EA and submit EOI the earliest, then option 3 is the most viable option for you.

Also, the EA asked for updated reference letter. I have been in the same company with several positions. I have submitted different reference for each position signed by diff managers as well.

But EA asked for updated reference letter. Shall I ask the reference letter from HR? and must state in the letter the summary of positions? I'm not comfortable asking these details to HR since I'm still connected with company.

Check the date if the reference letter you provided for your current employment. Usually when they ask for an updated letter, they just want the most recent date on the letter. Hope that helps

Hello po, active pa po kaya ito? Nasa Au na po kayo? Magtatanong din po sana ako. Yung sa husband ko po kasi, ECE din po sya pero Instru&controls naging work nya po sa coal power plant. Balak po sana na mag pa assess as Plant Engineer din. Engineering Technologist po ba karaniwang result? Pag po ganun pwede pa rin iapply sa visa 189? Hoping for your reply po 😉
