Is a bold statement coming from the same team who in the beginning of all the changes last year was pointing to the broken system, housing crisis and politicking among others.
I do think they had enough levers in place to regulate the temporary migration population from further blowing up. (Students remaining as students and tourists conversion into students visa and WHV etc.)
At the heart of all these -they have a look ahead planning to accommodate this FY migration plan side by side establishing the new points system and the multi year planning levels.
When they said - the boost of nomination seats to states βwonβt affect the existing backlogs,waitlist and delays β i will just close my eyes π and let us pass the grant stage and talk about it later ππ
