2020 - Planned to apply for work visa (employer sponsor). Did not push through due to Covid
Late 2021 to Mid-2022 - Applied work and got hired offshore
2022 Aug - Prepared and submitted docs to employer
2022 Oct - received Visa 482 TSS Medium-term (can stay for 4yrs until 2026 under same employer)
2022 Nov - moved and started work at AU
2022 Dec - Received ITA for an OLD EOI (189/190 cant remember) - Failed to act on it and some docs have expired already (Sayang, own PR 189/190 could have been sooner, but everything has a reason!)
190 timeline
2023 Jan - Renewed docs and PTE
2023 Mar - Submitted new EOI and ROI (VIC)
2023 Apr - Received VIC pre-invite & submitted docs to Live in Melb (proof of salary, residence, etc.)
2023 Apr - Received ITA for 190 VIC
2023 Jun - Lodged visa application
=after 19 months=
2025 Jan - s56 from case officer | Renew medicals and police checks
2025 Feb 1st week - submitted s56 request
2025 Mar 1st week - Visa grant
Total waiting time: 20.5 months
Next step: Citizenship application Nov 2026 crossfingers
