Need your advice regarding on my Application

Hi Sir/Ma'an, Good day I need your advise po, I applied po as Architectural draft person and my vetassess is on going review.

My migration agency advise me to to apply as Architectural draft person so I follow them, hindi po ba mag apply as an Architect, license po ako from Philipiines? Sinunod ko po yung migration agency nmn to apply as Architectural draft person.

Hindi ako Architect, pero so far sa mga nabasa ko dito, madalas denied ang mga assessment for architects kasi hindi yata tugma ang curriculum ng archi ng pinas sa aus. Kaya strategy is archi draft person at madalas na approve naman.

You mean ongoing review, nag negative ba tapos pina review mo?

Unfortunately hirap po ang PH architects to get qualified for architecture degree equivalent sa AU. Known po ito sa pinoy forums with PH architects kahit saang school ka pa galing and kahit licensed. Bare minimum is if you have masters in architecture (not other masters). Kung may masters po kayo sa arch, it might be worth a try. AACA po ang mag a-assess nito. degree lang po ang titignan nila, not even your experience.

Kaya yes, karamihan po ng architects ng Pinas, arch draftsperson po ang path na pinipili, mas viable.

@barryco on going palang po yung skills assessment ko through VETASSESS but this morning,I had checked the DOHA website and wala po yung arch draftsperson for Occupational List 2020-2021.May chance pa po kaya mabago yun or by next OL na sila magrerelease ng panibago?

Unfortunately di po eligible for 189 ang arch draftsperson. States lang and depende pa each State kung isasama nila this year. Last year po NSW lang ang nagsama sa list for offshore applicants. It might change unfavorably for us this year lalo na dahil sa COVID.

I submitted my Vetassess application on Apr 6 2020 and got the result on Jun 25.

yan po yung para sa civil engineering draftsperson assessment ko pero yung sa archi draftsperson ko is 1month lang yung assessment result. :smile:

yup! worked for me. as long as you can prove that you are doing structure drawings, there shouldn't be any problems. :smile: sa main contractor din kasi ako kaya halo ang gawa namin, archi and civil drawings both. so during assessment i also attached some sample of works para lang to satisfy. you can also do the same. good luck!

yup! worked for me. as long as you can prove that you are doing structure drawings, there shouldn't be any problems. :smile: sa main contractor din kasi ako kaya halo ang gawa namin, archi and civil drawings both. so during assessment i also attached some sample of works para lang to satisfy. you can also do the same. good luck!
