@clickbuddy2009 saan po mag stay ang wife at anak nyo from now until August? Kung dito na po sa Australia, magregister na po kayo sa Centrelink. Entitled na po kasi kayo ng Family Tax Benefit kahit isa lang sa magulang ang nandito basta nandito na din ang anak ninyo.

Regarding sa form, wala na po kaming dinalang form sa Centrelink. Passport and visa lang po ang ipinakita namin. After nyo mag register, bibigyan kayo ng temporary password para sa online access. Tapos online na kayo mag-claim ng family tax benefit. Yung wife mo na lang ang gawin nyo na primary sa Centrelink.

More than a month palang kami dito sa Sydney, share ko lang na we got the Family Tax Benifit $1,400++ not sure about the breakdown of it, nakita ko lang sa account ko. We are family of six, no employment yet for both me & my wife... Subclass VISA 190...

So register and submit a claim when you get here... makatulong din sa gastos...

@kevinspacey Hi There, job market seems ok, I had a few calls and emails from recruiters this past few weeks so that's a good sign na there's not enough applicants that they need to cold call someone (atleast for .NET devs that is, not sure about other IT post). All the best for your search!

^^ I need to know this too. Hindi pa din ako ng pa register sa Centrelink. I was browsing in the website pero I can't seem to find kung paano kumuha ng CRN online or if it is possible. Not a priority though kase wala pa naman ako ma ke claim.

I called centrelink and asked if online registration can be done. Yes it can be done, i already have my CRN no. now 🙂 Just go to www.humanservices.gov.au. Then click the "Register" link on the upper right of the website. Then scroll down to the bottom of the page, there's a "Register" button. Then just follow instructions in there. 🙂

Nice. I actually found that but I did not finish it because it will give you a CAN instead of a CRN. Now I know that these are one and the same. Still, I am not entitled to claim anything. He he. I am not complaining. Medicare is more than enough for me. I went to the GP because i had high cholesterol before. She requested everything and it is all free. This is an awesome country. Thank God for the chance to live and raise my kids here.

if you are more than 30 years old, and you will not settle yet in AU within 12 months, then it is not advisable.. please read more about LHC..

Ang 189 visa holder ba eh considered ng domestic student dito sa oz? Or still international student padin? Kasi diba ang laki ng priveledge kapag domestic student ka, ang liit lang ng tuition mo sa skul.
Eh ang dependant or secondary 189 visa holder naman, considered ding domestic student din ba?

@lester_lugtu - PRs (primary and secondary and dependents) are residents so they are not considered international students.
