Hi! I did my 482 visa application DIY as well. Here's what happens:

First, your employer will submit an application for your Nomination to Australia's Immigration office. You will need that nomination when you start filling up your visa application. You cannot go further with applying for your visa without this nomination.

Next, gather your documents. Color-photocopy your passport, birth certificate, nbi clearance, prc certificate, diploma, tor, and have them notarized by a lawyer, and have them scanned. Note that their signature and stamp MUST BE IN BLUE INK. These will be used as proof for the information you put in to your application, and will be uploaded into the visa application.

They will also ask for your resume.

If you can get a health insurance while you are in Phils, the better. I think that it is possible to get one. I forgot the name type of insurance we should have, just look it up hehe.

Also, before lodging your visa application, let your employer know that you will need to apply for an EXIT CLEARANCE from the Philippines. The clearance is called OEC (Overseas Employment Certificate). Without it, you cannot legally exit our country.

Hello @Joninho. Thank you for the output. I have a couple of questions lang po sana.

After nag apply ni employer ng sponsorship, diba po meron pa yung kailangan nila mag post sa site na they are hiring for that position and it should stay for at least a month? Diba yun yung sa TSS kasi need somehow iverify na shortage sya dun so they are outsourcing abroad?
Nag present kaba ng showmoney sa financial statements? How about IELTS po? Need ba mag take nun?
In terms of occupation list po, ano po ba ma suggest nya po if yung post ko wala dun sa list?

Yep. It did mention na kailangan naka post yung job for 1 month at least before ka na hire. That is already out of our hands kasi si employer na bahala sa part na yan.
No show money, but I had a valid english test. Buti na lang yung PTE ko di pa nag expire. Got my visa March, tas nag 3 years na ang PTE ko June. Perfect timing lang talaga, except kailangan ko na mag take ng english exam para maka submit ng EOI. Haha

Yung problema ko ngayon is yung job ko ay wala sa occupation list. And yung need ko dapat is nasa medium term kaso kahit ung other occupation na pde mag match yung tasks, puro nasa short term. Kaya di talaga siguro para sa akin 🙁

That's a tough situation.

Na discuss mo na ba sa employer mo ang situation ninyo? Baka may ibang paraan.

They might consult a migration lawyer regarding your case.

Try to check po because last time I've heard yong short term may pathway to PR na pero not sure hanggang kelan knowing every quarter pabago-bago policy. Need mo din ma meet yong criteria para ma sponsoran ka especially years of experience, if yong nominated occupation is pasok din siya sa list. Maybe the agent can help you assess your job responsibilities. Minsan kase same tasks pero iba yong title dito 😅

What do you mean po? Medium term ako pero 2 years lang na grant saken. I am not sure anong basis nila sa ilang years ang igrant 🙂 Ilang years ka na na sa company? Well, renewable naman yong working visa short or long term. 😊

@lunarcat ohhh I didnt know. So in that case, kung renewable sya kahit 2 years lang, pede na din pala 🙂

Yung prob ko nalang is yung position. Kasi in my case financial planning assistant ang job ko talaga.

Pero wala to sa occupation list. 2 lang pde mag match na tasks sakin. Ung isa Financial Investment Manager tapos ung isa Customer Service Manager.

Kaso ang Cust Service Manager, may caveat sya. Tapos yung Invest Manager naman, license maybe required?

Yes may kakilala ako na short term pero nag renew siya ng kanyang working visa pero iba na position this time kase na promote siya as long as willing pa din si employer na mag sponsor. Maybe seek a professional help?

Kase yong si migration agent namin she helped us in determining our nominated occupation na relevant sa work experience namin 😊

Iba sakin, nomination fee lang ang na cover ni employer, ako na nag bayad ng visa fee. Di naman ako nag gamit ng migration agent pero todo research talaga.

Nag clarify ako talaga sa employer regarding the visa fee, di na daw sila ang cocover nun kasi sila na nag bayad sa nomination.

Pero sila din naman nag process ng POLO Verification ko, free of charge, saka pinadala nila yung documents by express mail.

Depende yata sa agreement po. 😊 May kakilala din ako sila pinahanap ng migration lawyer nila and not sure sa expense. Yong out of the pocket ko lang is NBI Clearance, Australian Police clearance, then yong English exam is medium of instruction in English from HS to College + yong diploma ko dito sinubmit ko, passport ID. Parang yon lang saken, upcoming OEC saken for balik-manggawa. Baka ganon din yata kase yong friend ko shoulder din yata visa fee.

Good day po! I'm on 482 VISA po kasi and nasa Australia na po ako, ask ko lang if posible na makalipat nang ibang employer even though nasa 1 month pa lang po ako? Yung work kasi na binibigay sa akin ngayon is malayo sa nakalagay sa contract ko. Wala po ba ako magiging problema kung maghanap ako ibang employer? And paano po ba ang mangyayari noon? Inonominate na lang din po ba nila ako o panibagong application nang 482 VISA yon sa Immigration? Salamat po sa sasagot! God bless!

Company po ba nag magrerenew nang working visa or tayo na po?

Company po ba nag magrerenew nang working visa or tayo na po?

For working visa po, dapat may sponsor na company. So meaning they have the power to renew the visa. For fees,depende sa agreement niyo.

I think as long as si new company mo is willing mag sponsor. Every working visa need talaga may company na sponsor.
