<blockquote rel="Amelie">@gmad06 No. He was headhunted in Linkedin when we changed his location to Melbourne on Feb 19, our fourth day here. Mabilis lang for him, Feb 19 Wednesday, he was given java exam by headhunter, then he was scheduled for client interview (first client) on Friday afternoon. After which headhunter called him again and said come to their office the next morning, which was Thursday, I guess to check if he looks presentable. Then he was scheduled for interview sa isa pang client on Monday morning naman.
Headhunter called him while we were having lunch after his second interview and told him that both clients offered him a job. That was Feb 24, Monday. Eight day namin dito.
We are very grateful. π We were prepared to wait a bit longer (average 3 months, based on forum posts) but I guess luck was on his side. He defines luck as chance + preparedness. π
But now, there's me who's still jobless. So if may mare-refer kayo, please do. Mabait naman ako saka masipag and may medical background pa. π

@Amelie I must say truly inspiring yung blessing ninyo, of all the rumors about recession, downsizing and increase in jobless residents, yung nangyari sa inyu ang nagbigay sa aming mga papunta palang, ng lakas ng loob na ipagpatuloy yung hopes namin.
so before po ba nagchange address si mister at bago kayo dumating ng AU, wala po ba mga potential interviewers si mister? malapit lng ba kayo sa CBD? okay lng ba magcommute?
i suggest wag ka lng muna pumatol sa offers like dun sa reception. I think u r off the pressure kc may trabho na si mister. cguro find an odd job that ur interested in.may friend ako nagsabi na sa mga shops eventhough wala silang posting sa labas ng vacancy, pwede ka magtanong if kelangan nila ng temporary staff.
