What would be the minimum cash savings in order to survive in AU for the next 6 months (worse comes to worst, assuming pareho kami ni mister na walang trabaho) for a family with 2 boys ( both under 3 yrs old) assuming our monthly rent is 1,400 and we live in sydney.
I know this is very subjective question, that is why I am asking the minimum cash savings. I am thinking of 3K-3.5K per month, but I am unsure if this is even feasible. </blockquote>
Medyo mahirap compute ang 1 month. Mas madali iyun masimula ako per week na gastos then multiply ko by 4. Utilities lang ang estimate kasi every 3 months billing nya. Rent lang yun malaking item. Lahat ng numbers are in AUD. Family po kami with 2 kids at nag aaral na ang anak ko na panganay na grade 2 while isa ay under 1 years old. Hindi ko isasama school at it does not apply to you yet and sobrang laki ng price difference depende sa school na mapili mo.
440 rent per week - 1760 per month
150-200 for groceries kasama na baon sa office per week - 800 max per month
80 for diesel kasi diesel kelangan ng sasakyan ko - 320 per month
50 for additional small items - 200 per month
tapos add 150-200 for utilities per month so estimate ko ng lalaro gastos namin at 3k-3.3k per month. Lahat ng gastos pag punta sa australia puro initial gastos lang tulad ng bili ng kotse tapos downpayment sa rent at lastly any shipping costs from wherever you are coming from to australia. Location ko po ay sa NSW and living outside of Sydney. Parang makati ang sydney at pupunta ka lang dun for work but in general naka tira karamihan outside of Sydney CBD. Kahit wala kang kotse ok lang kasi 15 aud per 30 mins parking sa sydney during weekdays while pag mag commute ka isang roundtrip na yun at may sobra lang konti for vendo machine hehe.
So tama estimate ng iba na kung 6 months ka tatagal dito na walang work need mo ng 30k AUD but in general makakakuha ka ng work after 3 months so tingin ko out of your 30k aud may matitira ka pang 10k AUD for savings.
