Inquiry on Engineers Australia CDR & CPD

Good day.

Magtanong lang po sana ako kung magpapa assess po ako sa Engineers Australia for Education & Work experience. Graduate of BS Electrical Eng'g at electrical draftsman ang naging work ko po for the past 12 years+;

Ano pong gagamitin ko pong CDR (Professional Engineer, Engineering Technologist or Engineering Associate) kung ang nominated occupation ko po is Electrical Engineering Draftsperson (312311). Hoping to claim 15points for Bachelor's Degree.
Paano po kaya ang pag assess nila ng work experience, based po ba sa naging work ko for the last 10years or dapat makaabot ng minimum 8 working experience para sa nominated occupation ko po?

Hi I am having difficulties making my cdr and cpd. I am a chemical engineer, problem is I do not think I have enough cpds. I never attended any piche convention.

guys, anyone here na naging under a manpower company or naging outsourced employee?

I was hired by a Telco company in Kuwait, then sila na mismo nag-assign ng manpower company para sa sponsorship ng visa ko. This means na outsourced employee ako at ndi nagwowork directly under that telco company. Kaya nung nanghingi ako ng CoE/Job Description kay telco company, ni-redirect ako kay manpower. But then, generic CoE lang ang binigay sakin ni manpower. So ang ginawa ko eh dun ako sa previous telco co. supervisor ako nanghingi ng Job Description (which he provided naman with official letterhead).

Do you think EA will honor this? 2 different sources ng docs ko? Naka-indicate naman dun sa CoE from manpower na I worked for that specific telco co.

Though medyo late na ung inquiry ko kasi nakapagsubmit nko ng assessment kay EA, waiting lang ng outcome. Gusto ko lang maiready if ever manghingi ng additional supporting docs.

@osss hi, hindi naman lahat classroom setting pwede mo din ilagay yung mga research mo, mga books na nabasa mo, technical references. For example sa japanese mfg let's say new product introduction from Japan tapos may subject matter expert from Japan na nagturo s iyo, may mga technical documentation ka na ginamit to implement yung project haha sample lang yan.. tingin ko importante yung continuous learning para magawa mo yung project/activities

@PinoyMech This was from the FAQ sheet of EA:

"Whilst the assessment outcome will remain valid indefinitely, our understanding is that DIBP mandates that the assessment notification be no more than 5 years old at the date of migration application. If you require an updated letter of assessment after this time, you must return the ORIGINAL letter to the MSA office together with a completed Admin fee payment form"

Hello po!

Ask ko lang pag di mo naman ipapaassess sa EA yung isang work mo at di mo sya icclaim ng points, need pa po ba magprovide ng COE o kahit appointment letter na lang? Yung current job ko kasi 3 months pa lng ako at di ako magcclaim sa kanya ng points kasi nga 3 months lng. Yung mga previous jobs ko ang icclaim ko lng. Ok na ba appointment letter lang para di na po ako hingi COE sa HR namin ngayon?
