@faye Logically yes valid pa naman yan wag ka lang talaga lalampas ng April 11. :-) Teka teka. Expiration ng Initial Entry Date ba yan o Expiration talaga ng Visa? Magkaiba yan obviously. Please clarify. Thanks.

question sa mga nakapagpabook with 40 kilos... pwede bang balikbayan boxes ang gamitin? ang bibigat kase ng luggages namen at ayaw ko na bumili pa ng bagong luggages 😛 sayang den ung timbang na kakainin ng luggage hehe 😛

@KTP - yung friend ko balikbayan box ginamit, wala naman probs.

Just make sure hindi lalampas nang 32 kilos per baggage. Mahigpit sila sa limit due to HSE policies, so better na huwag i sagad yung 32 kilos para may allowance. Pababawasan ang laman nang bag, hassle talaga.

@tita_vech - thanks for this po.... btw, 32 Kgs or 23kgs po? sabi po ng IOM "For adult and child fare, the baggage allowance is 2 bags, maximum of 23kgs per piece." nalito po ako bigla 🙂

@KTP - ok, di ko na notice via IOM kayo, 23kgs pala sa guidelines nila. Yun 32kgs naman max sa airline industry sa Oz para sa safety nang baggage handlers, etc. Sorry, I stand corrected.

@LokiJr - I assume you will come from Manila right? No direct flight from Clarke to Australia - lipad ka muna from Clarke to Kuala Lumpur and from there you will switch to a bigger plane. This will take you direct na to Australia... 🙂

For me, the trip going there was okey... As mentioned nga, this was an evening flight so natulog nalang ako after taking off... 🙂 Pero it is not so comfortable I tell you... 🙂

@pjecuacion : mas mura parin po talaga ata ang budget airlines (lalo na kung promo fare) kaysa IOM rates for legacy airlines. yun nga lang, mas comfortable talaga sa mga legacy airlines. 🙂

Sir, I believe the air tickets being sold by IOM are those of legacy carriers (i.e. PAL, Qantas, Cathay Pacific, Malaysian Airlines, etc) whereas ang Air Asia naman ay isang budget airline... 🙂

@KTP yup pwedeng balikbayan boxes. ganun din ang gagamitin namin kasi mahal nga naman pag bibili ka pa ng sangkatutak na maleta kahit pa na sale mo sya nabili mabigat pa din sa bulsa. just make sure to use a good duct tape (which is really expensive mga P600 per roll) to secure the sides and the bottom oof course.
