What to do between date of visa grant and date of entry?

@staycool It would be best if you could speak with your boss first then hand in your letter.@[deleted] provided a good draft.

Leave your company in good terms because you might need character references when you apply for work in Oz. I've read somewhere that they might ask for those. Even better if you could secure a letter of recommendation from your boss as well🙂

In my case nung nag apply kami ininform ko na agad yung boss ko what to expect na mimigrate kami .... kaya parang linggo linggo e nag tatanong ng update ... kaya nung time na dumating yung visa namin after a month naka pag entry kami kaagad .. parang nag work lang ako until yung entry date ...

parang ganun din ang case ko ke @jcsantos, i moved to my last ph job 3 months before my visa grant. pero nainterview ako 4 months prior and sinabi ko na na nagaantay ako ng visa grant. my bosses were Americans kaya naging straightforward ako. kaya nun magkavisa and uraurada na kelangan mag initial entry, di ako nahirapan. then when i came back and finally had to resign, sakto naka 6 months ako. because my bosses were so impressed with how i run the philippine office (operations manager kase ako and my bosses were US based), they gave me a very well written recommendation. in fact sabi nila if they consider putting up a biz in Australia, ako ang unang tatawagan nila. depende talaga sa relationship mo with your boss. kasabihan nga ang nagsasabi ng tapat nagsasama ng maluwag 😃 never burn bridges.

Talaga?..Eh paano mo naman naprocess visa mo?...Yung mga anak ko din gusto mag-apply sa labas...Yung anak ko, nagta-take ng actuarial exams para lumabas...Yung anak ko tumitingin ng job offers sa labas...Yung anak ko, ang galing kse may planong lumabas...Yung anak ko...Yung anak ko..."...Hay, hello??!! mam, aalis na po ako!! Medyo ganyan din case ko. Boss ko kasi pinagawa ko ng Employment Reference letter so alam na alam nyang aalis na ako. Everytime may meeting din he asks me for updates. And yung dati ring team lead nag-migrate sa Australia. So sanay na syang mawalan ng dahil sa Australia.

haha natawa naman ako dito.. Yung country manager ko dito parang ganto rin... ilang beses ako ni-email kung sino ang agent ko at paano ung process. Sabi ko ako kunin agent LOL hahahaha.

@Khaosan_Road binigay ko na nga contact no. ng agent ko eh...kanya nalang yun kung anong next procedure nila...pati site ng DIAC and CIC (for Canada) binigay ko na din...parang gusto ko na nga ding mag-agent para extra income...hehe
